As in you've decided what you're getting people but you just need to buy it? :)

    Hi SF,

Thank you for posting on my thread. It sounded like you had a fab holiday - when we were away I was ready to stay a few more weeks :rotfl: But once i'm in the mindset of coming home i am fine.

Regarding Christmas i would estimate i am over half way there - although i usually end up running round on behalf of my Mr.

I don't have many people to buy for though - i have 4 people to purchase gifts for and i've got gift bag surprises for 3 of them - i tend to pick up bargains throughout the year and put them in their individual gift bag - i've done really well this year so they will have done well to - they get about 10 - 15 'small' gifts in them = much fun unwrapping on the day and i've got things like a nail art set from a well known shop reduced from £10 to £1 - all the gifts in the bag are like this - reduced down to £1 or £2 so they do get things worth alot more. Their other gifts will be to take them shopping into 1 shop (will have sale on before xmas ;)) and they will be able to choose 1 item each so they will definitely have something they want too :D

But i've not got much for my mum at the moment. I'll have to get my thinking cap on :)

If i'm not back before then i hope and am sure monday will go well and before you know it it'll be half term :)

Thanks for stopping by DFW - it's nice to see you back :) I'll have a ponder about christmas presents, should start them sooner rather than later I suppose.

Last day of the hols :( I've been into town today and bought some new work trousers so I'll look smart tomorrow :rotfl: also bought some bits and bobs at b0ots, spend more than I intended :o but it's stuff that will last and was needed. I just bought it all in one go rather than as and when.

Tea tonight is going to be mince/gravy/peas/carrots in a giant yorkshire pud followed by hm lemon cake :) nice and healthy :o I need to do a bit more school work before the evening and I've got some blogging stuff to do too. Then, early night as it's an early start tomorrow! Probably going to be a bit of a shock.... :o

    Right, best get on!

Well the first day back has gone okay.

I've had a pretty rubbish event happen today which has made me feel tearful and unhappy this evening. Mainly my own stupid fault but I'm really upset about it. Only managed a bit of porridge for tea as I can't face anything else. Hopefully I'll be able to get it sorted tomorrow but who knows.

Here's to the rest of September going more smoothly than today. At least it's been a NSD, I suppose.

  • Oh SF, really sorry to hear about your day.

Try and practice some mindfulness to reduce the churning round your head and overthinking of the situation.

    I hope you sleep tonight.

Remember, it's so much worse in your head than in real life.

Sorry you've had a rubbish day. Hope tomorrow is much more positive.

    Wish.
