It's the weekend :j :j :j
I don't know about anyone else, but this week has been absolutely mental and has gone by incredibly quickly. As per usual, I seem to be chasing my tail all of the time to stay on top of everything, but it's been good. I think Thursdays are going to be my favourite day this year
We've got a friend coming to stay this weekend which I'm really looking forward. I'm hoping if the weather is good on Sunday to go for a walk and have a picnicI think I might make some chocolate chip cookies to go with that
Money wise, things are plodding along as per usual. Just need to keep spends relatively low for the rest of the month really which is much easier to do when we're both at work and busy
Final thought, I've posted a blog post today on 5 easy ways to reduce stress, if anyone fancies having a lookBe who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

Some of the staff at school have been very supportive, others don't understand why I was off for so long (well, I wasn't actually off for that long really, just half the time they weren't at work either)
My anxiety levels rise when I start to second guess what other people think of me, I'm aware it's an issue and I try really hard not to listen to myself, but it's not easy...
Take a deep breath and if you haven't looked at some things on mindfulness I really recommend it.

I know how you feel wish, I find it really hard if I make a mistake because I torture myself with how other people (colleagues and parents at school mainly) will think about it. It's silly because my rational brain knows it doesn't matter but I can't help it
SF I made the lemon cake on Tuesday and finished it today! It was so yummy I'm making another one next week. My OH was impressed too because my baking is not reliable...
I need to read your new blog on managing anxiety although I'm feeling OK at the moment :T

I'm having trouble sleeping again
it's making work more difficult as I'm finding it hard to get everything done because I'm so tired! Which doesn't help because I'm then stressing about things which means I can't sleep because I'm stressed but I'm stressed because I'm tired. Meh
Going to go to bed at 9pm and hopefully sleep.
Work is going okay apart from being shattered all of the time. I do like being busy and the days are flying by. As per usual, there's a million and one things to complete and my to do is currently two pages long and growing.
It's been another NSD for me today; took soup and a HM cookie for lunch which was lovelyhad numerous cups of coffee today which I generally try to avoid but needs must. I'm also trying to eat healthily, but that hasn't happened so far this week
I wrote a post on my blog today about living the simple life. More and more I long for a simpler time where life isn't so pressured. One day! Just need to work hard and remember the journey as a whole, not just where we are now.
Happy Tuesday everyoneBe who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

Hi SF,
Hope you managed a good nights sleep - i totally sympathize i am a terrible sleepertakes me ages to fall asleep then when i do i wake up after a couple of hours and usually spend the rest of the night trying to fall asleep again only to have the alarm clock go off when i'm ready to nod off again  I was actually so tired on Monday night and fighting to stay awake (was on way home) that when i got in bed i actually had a really good deep sleep :T Unfortunately i was back up at 2am last night meh.
Glad you seem to be enjoying work albeit busy
I too am aiming for a simpler life - part of the reason i am always decluttering

I went to bed at 9:30pm last night and slept better, so I feel a bit more with it at work today
which is good as Wednesday is a busy day!
Had another NSD - I took tomato and chorizo soup for lunch with a strawberry yogurt and a Viennese whirl which was yummy with a cuppa. I also had a bit of chocolate from a colleague which was very much appreciated! Not good for the waist line though as I'm supposed to be being healthyoops.
This is going to probably sound a bit strangebut I'm beginning the process of auditing what is in our house. The reason being is that we own a lot of "stuff" and some of it we just don't need. I'm going to go through (slowly) what we have and have a sort out. The things we don't need/no longer use/no longer fit etc., will be going to charity. This is all about living a more simple life (please see my latest blog post for that) and reducing pressure.
Right, I'm off to watch GBBOBe who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

It's nearly the weekend :j one day more.
Today has been a funny day - it's gone slowly but it's nearly over already so it can't have really. I took soup for lunch today but didn't like itso only had a yogurt and apple. I hate being disappointed by food!
We've been shuffling furniture around and I think we're going to switch our living room and dining room. The dining room is bigger than our current living room, and we hardly use it, so it makes more sense for that to be the living room. Only problem is we've decorated our current living room and I love it, but we haven't decorated the dining room and it's a bit blah. I think that if we do move rooms around, decorating the living room will be on the list of things to do quickly, I suspect
Money is proving more tight this month, but then we knew this would be the case. We've paid the deposit on our new bathroom and we decided to only take a bit out of savings and not the full amount - hence why it's tighter than normal. I'm looking forward to a new bathroom though! It'll be so nice when it's all done
