Thanks everyone
Me and DH have been away for the weekend - a last minute decision on Saturday morning when the weather didn't seem to be as bad as first forecast. We found a lovely place to stay in Northumberland, so pootled on up there on Saturday morning in time for lunch. We haven't actually done that much, apart from eat quite a bitbut it was nice to get away, plus it'll be the last time in a while that it'll just be the two of us.
Not much planned for the week ahead; I'm going to rest a lot and not go anywhere in particular. I want to do some decluttering and try to sell some stuff, plus have a general tidy around and sort out. I'm also going to do some batch cooking for the freezer, to start getting that built up. Also got some blog posts to write so I start to get ahead of where I need to be - that's the plan, anyway!
I'm so glad it's the holidaysBe who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

Your spontaneous weekend away sounds lovely
I enjoyed your blog post this morning and have saved the blogs to have a look at. I couldn't be bothered to attempt a comment on my phone but I've started reading 'Just a Little Less' which I'm really enjoying and seems to fit into that category.

Thanks everyone
I've been productive todayI have:
- hoovered downstairs
- sorted more stuff for the shredding pile
- listed my 20 free items on ebay - fingers crossed something sells!
- had a NSD
- about to start a new blog post for Friday
we're having chicken fajitas for tea so something nice and easy. We went food shopping yesterday and spent £37 which I'm pleased about. Think I might watch an episode of masterchef on catch up whilst I write a new post
I feel like a bit of a grump for writing this thougha couple of people have contacted me today saying "we must meet up before bump arrives" and "oh, you must be so excited" etc., and it's made me feel a bit rubbish. Firstly, because I'll be honest, I'm quite happy to not see anyone right now. In fact, I'd rather not - how bad does that sound? And the overwhelming feeling I have right now is not excitement, but more apprehension and anxiety thrown in there for good measure. The last thing I want to do right now is to traipse around town, going for coffee and making chit-chat about how excited I'm supposed to be feeling; apart from talking/seeing DH I'd rather be by myself at the moment.
I wonder if this is pre-baby blues, as it's a rather odd place to be right now.Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.
