Another day over, thank goodness.
Had such a lovely weekend; it was my baby shower on Saturday thrown by the lovely SIL and now baby SF has lots of very cute, little clothes and we don't need to buy any of those! Plus some other bits and piecesthen, combined with good company, food and daft games, made for a very nice afternoon. Very grateful to be surrounded by such nice people
I went into town on Sunday and bought various bits and pieces, so that the lists are pretty much complete. I have also packed my hospital bag  and just need to sort out the baby bag for hospital and then that's all sorted too. Can you tell I'm secretly hoping to be early?
NSD for me today; took various snack-y things for work today and then we've had smoked salmon tagliatelle for tea which was nice and straightforward and light. Only takes 15 minutes from start to finish! This was followed by leftover baby shower cakeand now sat on the sofa watching the hobbit and browsing mse at the same time.
9 working days to go :j :jBe who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

I've finally taken the plunge to build up a second income stream (though may have not timed it particularly well...) and have added a hire me/advertise page to my blog....! Here's hoping someone needs something soon
Other things I need to do, sooner rather than later:- register as self-employed
- research affiliate programs
- do a "recommends" page
- blog re-design?
- look at increasing social media engagement/followers/likers on facebook/pinterest/instagram/twitter
Another NSD for me today; took a cheese sarnie for lunch with a yogurt and some fruit. We're having roast chicken in tomatoe-y sauce for tea with rice followed by the last of the baby shower cake. Not planning on moving far from the sofa to be honest, though that's nothing new :rotfl:
8 days to go and counting! :j :j :jBe who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

You have an attractive blog, why not offer flat rate coaching to others to set up their own basic blogs (getting started/customisation/marketing/design/add ons (not techy stuff))? I think you appeal to a certain lifestyle blogging niche that might quite fancy sharing their own stories and might cross your palm with silver for some pointers. I wouldn't get greedy with it, but it might be a way to make a little extra money.0
