Hope you have managed to have a restful sleep last night SF. Do you have anything nice planned for the weekend?
not much planned for tomorrow, just taking it easy and enjoying the weather I expect

I absolutely love weekends like this, where you spend time with family and then time relaxing in the sunshine; there really is nothing better
I've done nothing today, apart from sit outside in the garden until I got too hot, and it has been exactly what was needed. I feel so relaxed and calm!
Today is NSD 20 for me, which means I've hit my target for Junehoping for one more on Tuesday, as I need to get some things tomorrow after work if I can get to the shops in time. I've got a chicken stew bubbling away in the SC that we're going to have with some roast potatoes and veg; smells good and was all just chucked in this morning and left on low. Hoping for leftovers for the week, but depends on how tasty it is :rotfl: got a homemade lemon flan for pud with some fresh strawberries. Nice, straightforward tea
Not a lot planned this week; got another antenatal appointment on Wednesday which I'm hoping is fine this time and no panics necessary, but who knows. Other than that, a quiet week in the SF householdBe who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

Well done for having a relaxing weekend. I bet you can't wait to meet your little one so I can imagine it's difficult not to wish the days away!"It is often said that before you die your life passes before your eyes. It is in fact true. It's called living." Terry PratchettBought our house 2012

I don't like heat
Really suffering to be honest; work is ridiculously hot and safety windows mean that they might as well not be open. My ankles and feet are seriously swollen because I'm on my feet most of the day combined with the heat means water retention. I'm also really uncomfortable which means I'm in a proper grump this evening.
However, it's the 1st July, which means I can now say that I'm due next month  pram and car seat are ordered so should arrive on Friday. Then, I think, we're pretty much sortedneed to wash all of the cute baby clothes we've acquired and then sort out the nursery and pack bags, and then I'm all done! Then it's just the waiting game.
In terms of finances, all DDs have gone out and bank account looks relatively healthy. Transferred some to savings and a tiny OP just to tidy up the numbers. In fact, all of the accounts end in .00 which I was quite pleased about! DH just thinks I'm mad :rotfl: we've had HM sticky chinese chicken with rice for tea followed by HM tea loafhaven't moved off the sofa since

This weather must be horrendous for you at the moment.
When you are at home, try to take things as slowly and easily as possible, and put those feet up!Early retired - 18th December 2014

I'm glad those feet are up! And, what Goldie said - take it easy. But wash the baby clothes first

It's the weekend :j :j :j
35 weeks today and countingnot much to report really - I've transferred £16.58 to savings today, just a tidy up of our main account. Popped into town today to take a top back that didn't fit, so that's £18 winging it's way back to us too. I'm going to go into town on Sunday armed with a check list of everything we need to get for hospital stay and some basics for afterwards, so that'll probably be quite spendy. Budgeted for it, although I may not have been generous enough
I was supposed to be making spag bol for tea but I can't be bothered to stand at the cooker and make it, so DH is having a frozen pizza and I'm going to have a banana/peanut butter/berry smoothie and some salad-y things from the fridge. It's far too hot for cooking and I'm not particularly hungry. May have to re-think dinners for next week if it continues to be this hot; I think I might go for more grilled meat and salads rather than hot, stodgy meals. I would say a BBQ but we don't own one, but might get one of the disposable ones for Sunday for a treat.
