Another week over, which has me :D and  in equal measure!

33 weeks today, so 7 weeks to go (ish). My scan yesterday, which was to check the growth of bump and baby, but all was fine, which is such a relief :) baby now weighs around 4lbs (how can they tell that?!) which is a strange though. Dunno what the rest of the weight is I've gained :o :rotfl:

NSD 14 for me today; struggled to eat anything today due to horrendous sickness at work, though I've made up for it by making a turkey/spinach/mushroom curry for tea and clearing my plate. I got the turkey reduced at Mr Ms and although I'm not the biggest fan of turkey, I don't mind it in a sauce :)

One thing that's annoying me more than anything is that I've got 7 burns on my hand from boiling butter, and I think three of them are getting infected :( I knocked one of them at work which burst the blister and made it bleed, and that's the most painful and angry looking. Another two have burst but I don't think they should have done as they're equally as painful as to when I first did it. Applying savlon regularly but need to keep an eye on them - they look awful and it's not comfortable at all. Who knew that some butter could cause such a mess?

We've got a busy weekend this weekend, so it'll be interesting to see if I can make it through without any naps : I've had a nap every day this week when I've got in from work!

    Happy Friday everyone :)

Hi sf, yor hand sounds painful. It may need dressing? Hope you manage to fit in some naps, pregnancy tiredness is hard going.

I loved the baby weight signposts. Mrs E was forever telling me what fruit DD was :)

Your hand sounds incredibly sore, I am wincing on your behalf.

Enjoy the naps, the baby budget is down to £191/mth already, falling fast.

Ouch, SF, sorry to hear about the burns :(

As to naps - it sounds like I agree with the others - 33 weeks into pregnancy isn't a time to tough it out and try to make it without naps, its a time to stock up on them :) Which ever way it goes, enjoy your weekend.

I think I may have gone a bit overboard this weekend :o I have been off work today; woke up in the middle of the night with a dodgy tummy so hardly got any sleep and felt awful when the alarm went off at 6:30am this morning. In fact, once I'd rang and left a message at work and sent a couple of emails, I went back to bed and slept until 11am without waking at all. Didn't even hear DH leave! Still feel rubbish, so we'll see how this evening goes.

My friend had her little girl at the weekend - 4 weeks early - and she's absolutely gorgeous. Tiny but perfectly formed :) it's made me a bit envious to be honest, I'm starting to get uncomfortable and sleeping at night is getting less and less. I know that bump is the safest place for baby to be until the right time, but I can't wait to meet them now :)

Obviously, today has been a NSD; once out of bed all I have done is laze around on the sofa. Watched a couple of things I'd recorded on catch up, had another nap and ate some toast with a cuppa. The sickness has been particularly evident today, which has not helped my general state of mind. But, my hand is looking much better; the burns are not so red and inflamed and are finally beginning to heal. Definitely will try not to do that again!

    Happy Monday everyone... :o:)

Aww, Happy Monday to you too - I'm glad you listened to your body *today*, at least.

Being at the end of a pregnancy during the summer has got to be difficult - hope you sleep well tonight as well.

I must be the only person who is grateful it's not sunny :rotfl: I'm quite alright with it being cooler!
