Plodding along, work was hard today but glad I went in
NSD 16 for me today; I suddenly don't want to spend anything at all, which is very strange. I think I'm beginning to think about how to manage our finances when I'm on maternity leave and the income is less and less over time. It definitely clarifies your priorities, that's for sure. I popped into town after work to pay in a cheque for £12.50 which was the refund of car tax when we sold our old car. It'll be transferred to savings tomorrow when it should have cleared
Tomorrow sees us going to our last antental class - it feels like we still don't know very much  and tomorrow's is titled 'Active Birth' which is even more   babies just arrive don't they? _pale_

Got back from the antenatal class; we got to look around the labour ward too so I now know where that is and what to expect when we arrive there. Feel a bit better now to be honest, as I know where I'll be giving birth. We got to see inside theatre which was a bit  but hopefully, fingers crossed, that won't be necessary.
Not much else to report - transferred £17 to savings today before payday tomorrow. Will do all of the big account shuffles tomorrow - is it quite sad that I look forward to that every month?

It's good that seeing labour ward has reassured you, it helped me too. I also love the payday shuffle, I don't actually spend any money but that money shuffle is a highlight!
Well done having money to save before payday too.
Often wish I was a teacher when I see those 'get ups' get less!June 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!0 -
