Another day is done :j :j
Not a NSD for us today; we popped into Mamas and Papas on the way home to take advantage of their sale. We bought a lampshade (£7.45), a pair of curtains (£30) and a mobile for the cot (£16) so the nursery is now finished, apart from a quick tidyit looks so much better with some pretty curtains up
I've been tweaking the blog a bit more this evening and have been reading up on self employed stufflots of things to mull over and make decisions on! I think I need to open a current account that's totally separate so that it will be easy to keep track of income/expenses (should there be any!) to see how things progress. I'm excited and nervous at the same time

We've had such a lovely weekend; we've been to stay with my parents for the last time just the two of us
we haven't done that much really, pottered around town and spent some time sat in the garden in the sunshine. Enjoyed watching the tennis and have been out for Sunday dinner today. It really has been a lovely weekend
Just 5 more days to go at work and I'm really looking forward to having some time preparing before bump arrives.
Not much else to report really, plodding alongtransferred 38p to savings today; every little helps, right?

Hang on in there SF. Time to crack out the colouring pencils and educational DVDs this week
I don't know if you know but the changes you've made to your blog pictures have fixed the issue you had with Bloglovin'. I enjoy discovering new frugal blogs via your top 3 feature on the weekend favourites. Have you done (or would you consider) a blog roll post?know thyselfNid wy'n gofyn bywyd moethus...0 -

and I haven't thought about it - will put it on the list! I've done a "10 personal finance blogs you should be reading" post but perhaps a more general one would be good

Not much else to report in the world of SF; plodding along until the end of the week and the start of my maternity leave
OP'd £40 today which takes our mortgage to £102,100. So, by the end of the month, it'll be £102,000 which is ever so close to being under 6 figures! I don't know how much longer we'll be able to continue with overpayments whilst I'm on maternity leave, but I'm hoping to overpay something every month, just so it keeps going down in the right direction.
I've been spending a lot of time recently reading minimalism and simple living blogs, as I feel like I'm shifting mentally towards owning less and experiencing life more. I think next week whilst I've got some time to myself, as well as doing some meal prep and freezer meals (as outlined in today's blog post) I'm going to have a bit of a declutter and tidy. Has anyone sold anything on Facebook? We've got so many dvds/books that could do with sorting out and either trying to sell or giving to a CS. We seem to have a lot of stuff for two people who don't buy a lot!
