Well, after posting that I didn't want to see anyone or do anything yesterday, I have been out this afternoon with MIL for a coffee and a wander in town
MIL also treated bump to this, which is in the boys section of the shop but I think it could be fine for either a girl or a boy
I haven't spent anything today due to being treated to coffeeso another NSD in the bag! I don't think I'll meet my target of 20 NSDs for July, but am just going to keep plodding along and see what happens. I haven't done much today apart from pop into town; watched a bit of tv on catch up and not much else! I have done a bit of blog admin, but I need to get on with writing blog posts so I can get ahead a bit. It's payday on Friday so I'll do the regular account shuffle then.
I'm going to make a pea and bacon risotto for tea - nice and straightforward - and then perhaps watch a film with DH.
Happy Wednesday everyoneBe who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

Try not to compare yourself with others. I expect you will feel nervous and excited at times. I know how annoying it must be to hear "You must feel so excited/scared/terrified" and I have heard other expectant mothers say the same thing.
Take the opportunity to put yourself first these last few weeks. Say no if you don't want to do something and yes if you do. Just look after yourself.
I know we are all very excited about another MFW baby :T

Okay, so the first three days of the week have been very lazy; I haven't done very much and pootled around the house in my pjamas most of the time
which is exactly how I like to start my summer holidays
However, there are things I need/want to get done each day so that I make the most of the peace and quiet, so I'm going to do a list of things I want to get done each day. So, today's list:- check online banking
- check ebay listings
- put washing away
- shred some of the shredding pile (can't do the lot as it's quite bit
)
- make 2 batches of chilli for the freezer
- write 2 blog posts
- put last lot of tiny baby clothes in the washing machine
- have a NSD
- research basic current accounts re: blog money
Think that'll do - some of that will take quite a while. My parents are popping round this afternoon too so I don't have the whole day to myself. Looking forward to seeing them thoughthey won't expect me to do a lot whilst they're here :rotfl:
Right, if you see me on here a lot today, tell me off!Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

Not too shabby! I have checked online banking and am happy to see that the claimed £55 from TCB has hit our accounttransferred £4.42 into savings ahead of payday tomorrow when I'll do the bigger shuffles. Things are looking good, though tomorrow's payday is the last full one for me  maternity pay from August onwards! Eek!
I have checked my ebay listings and one has a bid :j :j only for £2.40 so far :rotfl: but every little helpsthat particular item also has 9 watchers, so I'm hoping that it'll sell for a bit more. All of my lots end on Sunday afternoon, so plenty of time yet
Washing is sorted and put away. Haven't put the baby clothes into wash as I can't remember which bit of the washing machine tray you put the washing liquid stuff inso they're all in there, but not washed. I'll have to wait til DH gets home to tell me!
Made chilli for the freezer, and due to deciding to chuck in an extra tin of chickpeas into the mix, has made us 3 dinners worth of meals that are now cooling on the side ready for the freezerIf nothing else, we'll have chilli to eat when baby arrives :rotfl:
I've researched basic bank accounts and think I've decided on which one to get - I just need one that can be purely for self-employed things and that's about it. It doesn't need to offer any extras really, so should be straightforward to apply for
I've also got one blog post drafted and about to start the second. Still haven't attempted the shredding pile though...Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

It's so easy and straightforward! Here is the recipe; just bung everything in and leave it for a bit = my favourite kind of recipe:rotfl:
If you can't do it now when can you? You're going to be very busy soon, or so I've been told"It is often said that before you die your life passes before your eyes. It is in fact true. It's called living." Terry PratchettBought our house 2012Married 2015

Not too bad in the end - the only thing I haven't got round to is the shredding (I must do some tomorrow) and I can't face it now. Feeling pretty pleased with myself at the moment
Right, now to do nothing and relax on the sofa :rotfl:
