Before I had to go low salt, I used to do a chicken, chorizo and butterbean stew. I still do a version of it, but put in mixed beans and peppers instead of the chorizo.
Another thing I do is 'Spanish chicken', which is basically chicken, peppers, courgettes and tinned tomatoes.
Plus there's various other stews and casseroles, like chicken and mushroom, chicken and apple, not to mention chicken curry.
What I usually do is, when I see a recipe idea on here, I Google it, and pick out the recipe that I think will suit me the most.Early retired - 18th December 2014

Well, what a miserable day it has been today. Rained for most of the afternoon and is really dark and grey. What has happened to summer? It's a NSD for the SF household as we've been nowhere; I've been in leggings and a big jumper all day, taking relaxing to the max
We've had beef bourguingnon for tea which I made in the slow cooker so it's been bubbling away for hours. It made the house smell so good all day, and it was very tastyplus another two portions cooling on the side ready to go in the freezer as easy-to-heat-up meals
I then decided I wanted to have something sweet so made a peach crumble using two tins of peach slices and store cupboard ingredients. Today has been a good food day
My bay of e things reached a grand total of £18.82 :rotfl: so not made any riches, but it's good to have cleared a bit more out. Those that haven't sold have automatically been relisted for free so fingers crossed a couple more sell by the end of the week. Just waiting for one last person to pay so I can package theirs up then I'll pootle along to the post office tomorrow at some point so they get their items quickly.
Happy Sunday everyoneBe who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

Impending first time birth is terrifying but you will amaze yourself how well you cope. Looking back on it it will seem such a small effort for such a brilliant result.

Well done on the eBaying.
Regarding the free re-listings, they are stopping that from 17th August. If you tick the relist option, it'll charge if you've already used your 20 free listings for the month.
I know you'll probably have other things on your mind by then, but though it was worth mentioning, just in case!Early retired - 18th December 2014

So, I was longer in town than I thought I'd be, plus I needed a nap when I got home, so not done as much as I'd hoped today. I can't face the hoovering now so I'll do that tomorrow; it seems like such an effort just now! :rotfl:
I've written a blog post and half drafted another one, so kind of there. I really do need to get motivated with writing them though, so that when bump does make an appearance, it'll plod along semi-automatically without me for a while.
Had a NSD as parents treated me to lunchwe just went to M&$ cafe and I got a BLT sandwich and a cuppa
we didn't wander round too much, as the weather here as been dire today. It's rained on and off all day and is quite cold and miserable. I think someone somewhere is having a big laugh at this "summer" weather we're having; where's the sun gone?!
I feel a bit down today, for no reason at all, so going to have some cuddles with the cats on the sofa. Have a good evening
