You have done really well with your list. I have seen a few girl babies in blue outfits lately so definitely think that outfit could pass for unisex. Thanks for risotto recipe too, I will definitely be trying that.

The risotto is really tasty and easy :) and I think today went reasonably well!

    It's payday :j

I've done the biggest account shuffles this morning. I OP'd another £100 this morning so our mortgage now stands at £102,000.00 :D getting closer to being under 6 figures! In fact, I'm hoping to do another sneaky OP next week before the month is out, but we shall see :)

I met a friend for coffee this morning at my favourite coffee chain :) and she paid so my NSD has stayed in tact! I quite like this lady who meets for coffee lark, though I'm feeling pretty tired now so might need a nap this afternoon :rotfl:

I'm going to do some batch cooking this afternoon - I made the chilli yesterday and today I'm going to make a big batch of spag bol sauce to also pop into the freezer :) shouldn't take me too long once I get started. Any other suggestions for meals I can make for the freezer? I'm thinking maybe something with chicken too? Something that can be heated up relatively quickly :)

    Right, best get on :)

Do they reheat okay? Have you got a recipe for sausage pasta bake? :)

Excellent mortgage news and glad to hear you're enjoying your summer holiday. :)

Meals: Do you like chilli con carne?

On the other topic of people asking you about being excited about the baby, Mrs K had a lot of this and she was very worried. She was told by a lot of people "there's no need to be scared" etc. but that didn't help her at all. I remember telling one of her friends to stop calling because she was really quite upsetting my wife.

  • Morning, I'd make some soups as well. Pea soup is easy and has a lovely fresh/clean taste, plus butternut squash - cheap to make but would be good with a hunk of bread as a lunch/snack. If you are feeding little one yourself, healthy snacks/meals like that will be useful.

Making some HM pizza bases and freezing would be useful. It ould only take seconds to slap some toppings on, then cook in a very hot oven.

    Good luck, Tilly x x

I've made three batches of chilli which are already in the freezer :) I just think that the whole process of giving birth and having a new baby is really daunting!

I'd not thought of soups - thank you for that! I'll have a look at some recipes this afternoon :) is there a particular recipe you use for HM pizza bases?
