Hi SF :)

I've bought and sold on fb. Not my preferred selling method, but handy for large/ awkward things (like a patio heater) or bundles of similar stuff (often see people putting pics up of eg: DVDs all @ £2/ £1) I find people start haggling straight off with silly offers or asking what's the lowest you'd take on the post and then there's the ones who don't turn up or who change their mind after a few hours... but it's still a way to shift stuff.

Re books/ dvds/ CDs, if you just want to shift them and get some money (but not heaps) then Ziffit/ webuybooks/ musicmagpie are a good alternative. Scan the ISBNs or barcodes with a smart phone and it's really quick - then CS the rest maybe (have done this with books and CDs myself several times) Also go through topc@shback to increase your funds :D:D

Not long now - for both events! :)

    xx

I get my DS to upload pic.
I use it for things I want rid of that I have no way to get to skip.
Nothing sells for big money but it is local & handy.
Bought some bits n bobs as well :)

I didn't know you had a mfw diary, SF!

Just looking at your signature - may I ask what the 'ultimate dream fund' is for? It's a very specific number so I thought it must be for something in particular. Sorry if you've already mentioned it but I haven't had time to read through your diary yet!

Thanks for feedback re: FB selling - might try a bit next week and see how it goes.

    One day more :j :j :j

Nothing much to report; got home today and had a two-hour nap. Had the most basic tea of chicken kiev, chips and beans :o and then have spent the night lazing on the sofa watching masterchef that I've recorded over the last two weeks :)

Transferred £12.68 to savings to round down our current account. I keep thinking that it's later on in the month than it is, so payday actually isn't for ages! July payday is the last full one for a while, so looking forward to transferring amounts and then seeing how long we can make everything else last. I'm so sad :o I love the payday account shuffle!

    Did I mention there's only 1 day left? :D

Well done :T. Enjoy a good rest while you still can :D.
