Hazel; what time does your boyfriend get home??
Do you think that she will carry out her 'threat'??, if so, call the Police.
If it's just hot air on her part then sit tight as you have definately done the right thing, it amazes me that some people have no idea of their behaviour. Basically, she needs to blame someone and she's not going to accept any responsibility so therefore it's all your fault. At least it's on file now and hopefully SS will keep an eye on them.
You've been pretty brave; it wasn't an easy decision to make but it was, like everyone on here has said, the right one.0 -
Depending on the trafifc he will be hone at 1130-1145 he finishes at 11. She could carry it out with her male friends, She reckons she knows alot of drug dealers. I got a threat off her last night for not borrowing the money, She said her friends would get me (and there was a car outside the house). My boyfriend was on till 2 last night so I called the police and explained what had happened. They sent a Tacticle Aid van round to the car. Apparently they were patrolling our area!
I really don't want to keep bothering them.0 -
Have to say I'm quite impressed by SS for moving so quickly on this one."Save £12k in 2019" #120 - £100,699.57/£100,0000

If you are being threatend or feel worried that is what the police are there for, you along with the rest of us pay our taxes and the police have a duty of care no matter how many times they are called out. If like you say your sister knows peoplee that deal in drugs I would be sure that the police know something about them as well and be it in a car or just "hanging around" the police have the power to move them on. If you are the least bit worried PHONE THE POLICE straight away0 -
Absolutely agree with this. I find it quite surprising that a 7 year old knew who to phone and how to phone, but then I suppose mine were young in the age before mobiles and speed dialling ...[/QUOTE]
My under 3 year old can pick out her dad or brother from the list of incoming texts on my phone and send a string of random letters and even smilies to them. I don't know how she does it, she can't read yet as far as i know! Possibly recognises the shape of their names.:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Because these weirdos are your true family.0 -

I completely agree. If you receive any further threats, retain them on your phone and contact the police. What she is doing is two separate criminal offences:
a) harassment under the Protection from Harassment Act 1997. The offence of threatening fear or violence is punishable by an unlimited fine and 5 years' in prison.
b) intimidation of a witness (you have provided an allegation re. potential child neglect). Same penalty as above.
The reason I mention this is to emphasise how serious her behaviour is. You will be well within your rights to complain about this to the police if you need to or want to.
Please do not feel that you are wasting the police's time. Your sister needs to learn that she cannot simply threaten those people who disagree with her, or who stand up to her for the sake of those more vulnerable than she is.0 -
Hi OP, I find it so sad that your sister threatens you for not lending her money, she sounds like a very desperate person, not to mention the threats when all you have done is show concern for her children (not that she would see it like that anyway). Do what you need to do to keep yourself safe/feel secure.
She seems so blind to accepting any responsibility for what she is doing/not doing with regards to her children. Stay strong xx0 -
Hi Hazel,
Are you still online, I see your light is still green? Just wanted to check all ok?0 -
I do feel like I'm wasting their time, Like they sent a tacticle aid van last night and 4-5 officers got out to deal with the car. they could have been doing something else.
I should be fine. My boyfriend will home in an hour or so. I will keep talking on here0 -
I'm still here. Just been flicking through the TV0
