    Hi all,

I've been playing MyVegas for a while now with the sole aim of earning tickets to a Cirque du Soleil show. I now have enough points and need to decide between 'Love' and 'Zarkana'. Can anybody make any recommendation as to which is better?

Zarkana is new - not sure if any of us have seen it - but Love tickets can be had for $50 plus fees relatively frequently...so if the tickets cost the same number of points Zarkana may be the better buy in terms of $$ value...that does not necessarily answer the question though. :) we have booked to see Love for the 3rd time next trip - hubby is Beatles fan, I am not fussed...we both think the show is amazing.

Hubby is so excited as he got the CC Steakhouse deal today...was sold out about 10 minutes later when he checked back...so he is a happy bunny...he happend to check at about 3pm (working from home) and there they were.

Anyone know of a decent-yet-MSE place I can get a good massage in Vegas? Going in June and staying in MGM Grand.

EDIT: just to clarify, I mean an actual massage...not a "massage"

you can sometimes find Groupon or Living Social or Travelzoo spa deals on the strip or downtown as well as off strip...I've had them at Paris, TI and Golden Nugget that way and all were really nice - they are still not necessarily cheap, but better value than paying full price...I don't do the spa thing so do not really use the other facilities so cannot really comment but you do normally get access for the full day if you want it. Most do add a gratuity which is fine with me, but it does add to the cost.

I do also like the Hawaiian Marketplace that Luci suggested - though they can be somewhat brutal if you don't speak up.

Caesers Palace Buffet has had another price hike $26 for breakfast up to $51 for weekend dinner plus tax of course, and only $1 off for TR members

We like buffets but not at those prices, just crazy

  • just updated the 'flying direct' section on the front page with:

Virgin flights from Manchester are suspended 27 Oct 2013 - 27 Mar 2014, during which time the route will be reviewed, and may not be continued.

I'm really angry with Virgin about this. It affects our autumn trip and we have not been notified of the changes.
  • Has anyone used the website cheapoair? Are they trust worthy and safe to use? Prices seem to be a lot cheaper than other sites for flights. They have flights from Dublin to Vegas for £450.
  • Just noticed there is a 9 and 12 hour wait between flights, that must be why it is so cheap.

Never heard of them before. But a quick search online, and there are threads saying cheapoair are a scam. They take your money, then ring to say price not available, and increase it.
Not worth the aggro to save a few quid in my opinion.
