Calling them wont make any difference to any comp nights you may or may not have.
As Ferf says just log in and check the all vegas casinos calander0 -

any reward credits won't be used toward hotel bookings in this way though - you could use points to clear part of your bill at the end of your stay.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -
cheers for the info Photome! Punk Rock weekend eh ! haha, guess its gonne be a crazy wkend for us!!
I just booked 3 nights with the Mandalay Bay direct, and then completed the Best Rate Guarantee form and sent it off.
There price is $459.20 total (inc resort fee), with price match, should come down to $336.11
Will keep you all posted what happens on that setup!0 -
A few pages ago I mentioned the Cosmo and whether or not the resort fee was included in a lowcostusa.co.uk rate I had. They confirmed it was included for international guests providing you don't use the facilities that the resort fee covers. There were sceptics (including me), however I've now booked and received confirmation which includes the following;
THE COSMOPOLITAN
BASED ON 2 ADULTS
3708 LAS VEGAS BOULEVARD
LAS VEGAS, NEVADA 89109
NO MANDATORY RESORT FEE TO PAY, CHARGES FOR FACILITIES USED ONLY
all of which makes the rate I've got (inc tax) work out at £93 a night (7 nights), which I'm chuffed to bits with.
For context that's £653 for 7 nights total, with nearest best I could find £658 before tax (12%) and seemingly saying there would be a resort fee on top (which incidentally appears to have gone from $25 - $28 at the beginning of Feb).
It's a very long shot but I'm going to try the $20 trick, I don't really expect to get anything as it's 7 nights but I'll use a $50 to perhaps help my chances.
We stayed 3 nights (mon-thurs) in April last year and $20 saw us go from City room to one bedroom terrace with fountain view. Don't think I'll be matching that somehow!0 -
You would know it was Trump because there wouldn't be the casino symbol in the description
I think you're mixing up Hotwire with Priceline.
I once made the North Strip mistake with Priceline and ended up at the Riv -was a bit miffed but bit the bullet as it was just for one night . I cheered up enormously when I checked in and was given a one bedroom suite with balconyI Would Rather Climb A Mountain Than Crawl Into A Hole

Oooops didn't know he had booked flights already.
I am more concerned the check line might be very busy hence time issues especially as its over a busy period. It's probably just me but changing hotel 3 times in a 10 day period just doesn't appeal.
Whenever we've done a hotel switch one of us has gone to the new hotel early am and checked in long before it gets busy-sometimes got the room othertimes just registered and come back later. Usually when going back later and the room still not ready has resulted in a free upgrade but either way once the paperwork is done we amble over later with bags. Certainly at the Flamingo they told me not to go back in line but to go to a different desk to get my key (one of the not ready ones so upgraded from Go room to Go with fountain view)I Would Rather Climb A Mountain Than Crawl Into A Hole

Should get to 1st hotel (Mandalay Bay) on the Weds at 7pm, so am hoping it wont be busy (happy with a 15 min wait if need be)
2nd hotel which is the Golden Nugget is a Saturday checkin (also Memorial wkend!)... Still unclear what to do here, heres my options:
Picking up a hire car at 8am on Sat morning, and Hotel says you gotta check out by 11am..
Would be nice to stay in the Mandalay Bay all day Sat sunbathing, and then get bags from the luggage hold room, and go upto Golden Nugget for around 4pm ish, hopefully a swift check-in as most peeps should have checked in on the Friday ?
Or.....
As you say, drive up early and try and check-in to get booked in, or just to get a key, and then drive back to Mandalay Bay for sunbathing ?!
When we checkout on Monday and then goto Luxor (for around 12), am hoping we can just check-in nice and early0 -

See that was never really explained to me properly at the Total Rewards desk. I've only ever used my points for meals. I wasnt aware I could use the points to pay for a room. That was one of the reasons I asked about offers on the Total Rewards website. I guessed if I had points I would get special offers on room rates. I didn't realise I could use the points pay for the room at the end of my stay.0 -
