you'll end up at 3 hotels all right next door to each other if you do that - that's crazy!
- though at least you'll get to experience a few hotel pools lol

Hey everyone!
Thanks for all the tips you've been posting.
Me and the OH are getting married in Las Vegas in 9 weeks (!!!) so I've been following this thread religiously for hints and tips!
Have started looking at what we're going to do while in Vegas, we're staying another 2 weeks after the wedding as our honeymoon.
So far we've booked a heli tour and tickets to Def Leppard at the Hard Rock, so excited already :rotfl:
I just saw this deal on Groupon and wondered if any one had been, is it any good?
http://www.groupon.com/deals/adrenaline-atv-tours-6
We would love to do the Scoot city tour but OH doesn't drive and it wouldn't be fair that I'd have all the fun
Next big thing is to find a hotel though, am thinking of booking Excalibur as a fall back position. We stayed there in 2010 and found it perfectly acceptable but we'd love to stay somewhere different this time, preferably higher up the strip!Cross Stitch Cafe Challenger No. 26 :hello:XStitch to do list:-- Birth Sampler -- Christmas Angel -- Mum's Xmas Stitch -- Christmas decs 3 & 4 -- Xmas Bird ---- Snowflake Sonata -- Be Jolly -- JE Unicorn -- Start HAED!!! --0 -
thats my thinking, i get to use all the pools, and 3 amazing hotels, as its doubtful we will go back to vegas for quite a while after this, so trying to maximise as best we can on a shoestring budget!
Am just stumped now between MGM and M Bay, both have amazing pools! grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr !!!0 -

MBay IMO is the best pool in Vegas, especially if you like wave surfing and it has a beach, coupled with some great rooms.
Would I stay in Luxor and MBay on one trip? Not a chance, I wouldnt stay at any of them through choice as I dont like the location and I dont like gambling in any of those hotels.
However If I was comped 5 nights at Luxor, I wouldnt turn it down
Caesers palace has a great pool area as does the Wynn. With the money you have saved why not push the boat out0 -
Set a max budget of £700 each + Resort fee based on Excalibur = £750 each total..... (not including hire cars and hopefully Wet'n'Wild pass)
Need to stick to budget
The Luxor for 5 nights via QuickRooms would have only cost £174 inc resort fee, but being comped and paying the fee means we save £108.... (which enables us to stay a few nights in MGM or MBay)
Weds-Fri = MGM or Mbay, Sat-Sun = Excalibur, Mon-Sat = Luxor
As daft as it sounds, we like to gamble in Bills!! so location not a prob as we like the walk too !
Caesers - YES PLEASE! I did look, but wow, very pricey!! It doesnt help we are there for Memorial wkend, prices are mental!!!
Now this is a wild theory and all, but as its the memorial weekend and all, could it be a case of loads of peeps turn up on Friday and check-in, most probably gone for the cheaper rooms ?
So when i turn up on Saturday, there is that remote chance the standard rooms are gone and we might be lucky enough to get a nicer room ?!) Hope so!!!!!!Would be icing on the cake!

I went for 9 nights at The Quad in late April for $272, I will now look for a few nights after that in one of the nicer hotels. I am pleased with that price as the location is very good for me. When I was in Vegas in September there was a lot of work been done there but that doesn't really bother me if it is still going on. Also I have the small detail of booking a flight.
On another note when I was there last, I won two tickets to see Tim McGraw and Faith Hill at the Venetian, they said the value is $400, if anyone is going to be there late April when I am there and can reclaim them I would happily sell for $150 ono as it is not my type of music.0 -

I also like to gamble in Bills but unlike you I dont like to walk.
BUT you wont be gambling in Bills this trip as it closed yesterday and doesnt reopen until sometime in 2014

Erm, did hear about some hotels not liking saturday check-ins, but i assumed if u a UK agent allows you to book/prepay the room and its confirmed, then i assumed we get the room when we arrive ?! like normal as such ?

Mandalay Bay is our go to hotel,we always book the lowest level room and $20 at check in has never failed to get a upgrade to The Hotel. Most of the time we are some sort of offer or comp but our first couple of trips were not and we were always successful with the $20 sandwich,Pool area is the reason we book there0 -

I am sure they wont refuse if you have a booking, if you have a third party confirmation it will be fine0
