No, that link is for everyone.0

Hi Hello 100,
This is a good site to check flights & get prices ( I can't post link!)
matrix.itasoftware.com or google matrix airfare search.
I've put in your dates & prices seem very high though!
Flights from Dublin are from around 540 euros & up, but you can search for multi stops on there, if you wanted it might work out cheaper all round.0 -
that stems off skyscanner (looked at it last month)....
On another note, looking at peoples opinions on where would you stay if you had a choice of MGM's or Monte Carlo ????
Am guessing Monte Carlo is a lot smaller than MGM so wont take forvever to walk to the pool or front door ?!
But for those who have stayed at either, is the pool area way better at MGM's ? big pool(s) even ? etc0 -
MGM's pools are brilliant. I think there are 5 altogether and a lazy river.
However you are right, it can take 15 minutes to get from your room to the pool area.

IMO, MGM's pools trump the Luxors (I know you wanted a Monte Carlo comparison, but recognise you were looking at Luxor and are keen on the pool detail)... and i've never stayed @ Monte Carlo
Luxor struggles with scenery (if that's the right word)... felt like we were sat on a car park when we went (concrete floor, not really much 'shrubbery' around etc), and just a load of loungers clustered together
MGM on the otherhand has all the palm tree's, lazy river, different pools etc. Though it was nowhere near feeling private, the fact there are numerous places where you can only get 2 rows of loungers made it feel slightly more segregated
Due to them having numerous pools, both places only open up pools based on occupancy. Whilst we've stayed at both Luxor and MGM, on both occasions, not every pool was open (this would be late August / early September)
One last thing, dont be put off by distances at MGM. When we stayed there, we were right at the end of a corridor and it never felt long to get out of the place, or down to the pool0 -
coolio, not put off by anything now, and the walk i think will be good for us anyway
Its more a case of considering all my options now and how to get the best for what we want based on budget (say max £480 to cover 10 nights utilising 2 hotels in May over Memorial wkend!)
I will cancel my direct bookings with Excalibur & Luxor due to them NOT being able to compete with UK travel agents over the 'Best Rate Guarantee'. Still dont mind staying at either hotel, but would book via QuickRooms.com or LowCostUsa.co.uk as 'Resort Fee's are included...
Did have Flamingo on my watch list, rooms look good and so on, and so does the pool..... but thats on the back burner now!
Always liked the MGM, but in theory, always way out of my price range!0 -

I like the Flamingo (GO rooms or better - their standard rooms are not the best). It has an excellent location and a couple of pools.
Going back to Flamingo at the end of Feb for a week however my room is on compbut always check the offer codes on the internet (as previously mentioned - smartervegas.com etc)
Years ago I used the Best Rate Guarantee a few times and never had a problem using it. They always matched it and gave me the additional % discount.0 -
always find smartervegas.com more expensive given it takes you direct to the site with a code which makes the booking way more expensive than booking with a UK agent ! strange that!
I can get the Fab deluxe at Flamingo for 5 nights for £222 with Travel republic, or £265 exclu Tax via Smartervegas.com
Do like there rooms mind, looks real nice in the photos!
Upto 28000 points now in MyVegas!
4 more months of this and i should be able to get a few Brucey bonuses!0 -

Fab Deluxe at the Flamingo is their lowest level of room. They are not the best although I think they have been recently "improved".0
