Thanks to NVH for directing me to http://www.headforpoints.com/ (on page 282). I think this could be a useful referral to have in those initial posts as there is a wealth of information on the various airline points programmes as well as detailed reviews of the credit cards available which provide ways of accumulating points (avios for example).

I started the year back in January with a trip to Vegas and ended this year a few weeks ago with a trip to Vegas haha.

Get the feeling we won't be going next year as we're planning a long trip to the Far East.

However I have already factored in a trip to Macau so it'll look a bit like Vegas!

it used to be every few months altho I cant recall seeing it recently but that may be down to it being the wrong time of year or I just havent been looking
