Rub it in  Is the 8 weeks in one trip ?

Our best is 16 days in one year (2 x 8days), so maybe get for a month once I've retired in 2027 :)

Yes it is. I took early retirement, so that's how we can manage it.

Hiya I'm trying to book somewhere for OHs 40th in march. We can only get kids minded for max 5 days. Is it worth it to go all the way to Vegas for just 4nights? Tho I know he'd absolutely love it.

Yes - I'd say definately go. We went three years ago. On the first night my wife and I were on the casino floor at 2:00 a.m. We were there for for seven nights and jet-lag didn't kick-in until we returned. Mind you my children (aged 26 and 27 at the time) were more affected by jet-lag in Vegas. It probably depends on your interest in gambling!

We are going back in April.
  • Thank you - I booked flights to Vegas and managed to get kids looked after for another night so getting 5 nights in Vegas in March! Got the flights for £425 each from Dublin which I thought was really good . Now just to keep looking for hotel bargains- I really can't wait- thank you everyone for your hints and tips. Please keep them coming! :j

What dates are you going in March? Spring break is on & some biggish conventions, so when you see a good deal snap it up
  • Going from 15th to 20th. His 40th is the 19th! I am so so so excited!!

Well done, thats a fantastic price although I think prices from ireland are cheaper than England because of cheaper taxes or am I talking rubbish?.

Wish they were still that price from London or Norwich:(

As has been said it is spring break and March madness then, so if you see a price you like book it
