    Hi all.

    I've dipped in and out of the thread since i went to Vegas.

    Thinking about going back again in September.

    I could save a fortune by booking separately, but no chance i could pay the whole amount up front.

    I remember seeing one site a while ago where they would take a deposit, but i can't remember and can't find it in this thread. Anyone have any ideas?

    Cheers

    You wouldn't have to pay the hotel part upfront, of course that still leaves the flight to pay upfront.

    I believe sights like dial a flight will let you pay just a deposit but I think that means the flight price isn't gteed, in other words when you come to pay off the balance it may have gone up

    Lowcost USA let you pay a deposit for a flight and hotel booking
  • Hi Vegas tripped all booked. Just trying to get travel insurance quote to include a trip to the Grand Canyon via a small aircraft. Tescos insurance wont include it yet their policy states that an aerial safari in a small plane would be included in their price I have tried go compare, travelmoney. I see hotairballooning was listed in most activities. I would have thought a small aircraft would be less dangerosus.

    Tescos advised me that I would need to approach Papillon tours who I have booked with their insurance. I rang Papillon and their aircraft is insured and when I asked how it would protect me as a passenger I was told that they could not release that information.

    Think I need a beer:beer::beer:

    Any guidance would be most appreciated
  • We didn't even think about extra insurance when we went on our helicopter trip over the Grand Canyon. I just assumed we'd be covered with our normal travel insurance

    Have you checked with other insurers to see what they offer?
  • I checked other insurers and they did not seem to include small aeroplane trips unless I forked out more
  • Never occurred to me either to check our insurance. I just assumed it was ok because it was a plane journey. I would have thought hot air balloons might be different though.

    Hope you find insurance though.
