That's a real annoyance from virgin as its one thing they had over some of the other airlines.
Next years flights straddle when the new pay to choose your seat comes in.
Luckily we've booked extra leg room so you can't pick those online anyway. Hope they won't put the price of these up as well.

Friend of mine just got back from 1 week in Vegas....
She booked with Britishairways holidays, for BA flight, NYNY inc resort fee....

Soooooooooooo, apart from being delayed for 2 hours last Saturday, the plane took off and away they went.....
Now, when I flew with Virgin direct 2 years ago, I read that they run out of drinks on purpose after 90 mins flight time......

So found it odd when she said, on the BA flight, they run out of drink (apart from water and some cola/tea/coffee) after only 1 hour in the air.... She got a meal with that drink (1 hour airborne), and then got a biscuit snack 1hr before they landed!

Is that normal for BA ?!!!!!!!

I believe on the LAS flight they load drink for both the outbound and return, so they limit drinks served to ensure they have enough for the way back, at least in economy.

Haze nightclub in Aria is sensational and DJ Erock on a Saturday is an incredible experience but one we didn't do last month as we'd already done it prev years.

but they do code share with virgin and had a sale a while back which a few of us took advantage of. My booking is Delta although I won't be near one of their planes at any point.

means Delta metal (i.e. a Delta operated plane) as opposed to a codeshare.

After being almost fed up with Vegas this year, we just booked package with BA for the first time, 7 nights in the Mirage including resort fee and 13 hour flights via Gatwick.

Fly out on 25th November which is over Thanksgiving so we can have a black Friday shopping day ;) It'll be cold but who cares.

We're going to NY in March, booked flights and waiting for a hotel nearer the time - does anyone who has been to both have any advice and comparisons between them ? Cheers !!

I've done vegas three times on those same dates roughly. I love it as its not crazy busy.
This year was the first time I saw rain and it was for 3days running but rare I think.
Wasn't too cold and I got by with t shirt and jeans most days and taxied from place to place in the evening so never noticed the chill really.
Flight from LGW was good. Grab the cot seats when u get the chance to choose your seat. I got mine within the 24 checkin window
