Visidigi.
the credit may be there, if you charge something to your room it may get wiped off then.
Re MGM I have stayed in most hotels on strip and some off strip and the MGM is by far the worst when it comes to customer service in my experience.
Not sure about all the Brits though I rarely encounter many0 -
Oh and almost forgot. Bathroom smells like a casino floor - previous occupant seems to have smoked in a no smoking room - probably not unusual round here but yet something to say to someone...wasn't me!
If you call down to reception and tell them this, they will gladly change your room, and might even chuck in something free as an apology too.0 -

Doctor has no explanation 'probably viral'. Same thing happened when I went to Vegas 3 years ago though it stopped after a day or 2 at home. Wish I knew what caused it so I could try to stop it for next trip in May.
We stayed at the Aria, it was lovely, booked a deluxe room but hit lucky on check in, we got a city view deluxe room on floor 51, the view was amazing, we also had the resort fees waived (don't know how or why!!) and chocolate strawberries delivered to the room.
Also had my biggest win ever on the slots $130 on a 1c machine, made my day lol!
Could be an inner ear infection - I get them a lot and the dizziness drives me crazy!
Do your ears hurt on the plane? Or do you go in the pool a lot? Water in your ear can cause it, as can cold air like if you have the air con on high when you're in bed.
Its trial and error figuring out the trigger, but I feel for you - hate getting like that in this country never mind Vegas!0 -
Visidigi, call the front desk and ask them for a move, if you can link reservations and clarification on the drink credit. They may be more amenable over the phone, and you might get better service. Some front desk agents have no manners, some are great, it's the luck of the draw.
I hope you enjoy the Mirage buffet, we quite like it, especially for free.0 -
It's the Grand Canyon day tour tomorrow so need to get tickets and hotel pickup sorted out today, hopefully someone in the business center will take pity on me!
Check out the tripadvisor reviews. We went for the helicoptor ride into the canyon., well worth the extra $$$ IMHO. Friends were less impressed with the skywalk and there are severe restrictions on taking photos on the skywalk.
Compare the different options by price and what's on offer. The different companies seem to merge coach pick-ups, drop backs and even coach tours - so don't get too hung up on companies.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. I wouldn't go to the business centre - I wouldn't think it would be something they would handle...maybe the concierge, but likely you would get better prices booking something yourself either online or walking-up, I would think...though haven't done it myself...but I know that there are plenty of discounts out there in the free magazines you can find certain places (taxi and monorail station is where we got ours)...but sometimes I do think booking online can be the cheapest way to get the same thing.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -

Doctor checked ear after I got back and couldn't see a problem but I think it has to be ear related ? Ears were fine on plane, better than normal in fact, didn't feel any pressure. I didn't submerge them in pool! Room wasn't cold. All good suggestions though thanks.
It seems Vegas is my trigger, have only had this there!0 -
