Its a typo - I'm sure of it!!!
Normally I would have loaded up the cards while we were away, but its not been that rate for a LONG time...so topped them up now with plenty of spending money0 -
VISI !!!! OMG!!!!!! nice one, I just banged in £400 !
Rate is $1.65 !!!!! Sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet!
I took a screen shot after the transaction, etc, so its all above board!!
plus got the proof should they try to do me over!0 -
Currently...
£1 = $ USD 1.6590
me thinks it should be
£1 = $ USD 1.5690
that's some whoops.0 -
Interbank rate is $1.62
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business/market_data/currency/11/12/one_month.stm
so we in theory would buy at 1.58, or 1.60 if your lucky!
but 1.65, erm, that hasn't been available in over 12 months at the Interbank rate, let alone holiday money rates!
woooooooohooooooooooooooooo !!!!
Gonna go home lunch time and raid my savings jar, see if any more I can pump in today!!

...I highly doubt it will be around beyond 10am! One of my top-ups has been pulled for validation
What's the bets it doesn't 'validate'....0 -
I joined some of the chip collecting groups -we have about 350K of LPs each now at this rate we could get myVegas to pay for the wedding ceremony.....pity I really don't like the MGM wedding chapel LOLI Would Rather Climb A Mountain Than Crawl Into A Hole
MSE Florida wedding .....no problem0 -
Gah don't think it's working anymore...I just tried twice to order a new card with £200 on it, both times failed.0

As with many others on here I'm slowly losing the will to live whilst trying to accumulate the 'gold' on my vegas and I'm interested to know whether my rate of aquiring them is comparable to others.
So how long did it take you and how many did you end up with/have you got?
Playing since Sep last year. Got about 700k in LPs since then. Would never dream of joining a "group" to collect pts. So averaging over 1.5k LPs a day. Used to play the chips as I got them, now only play if there is a special on such as double XP weekends on double LPs on level up. I suppose occasionally I still do the 3-4 day specials collecting items, but even with the Max mult they still end up costing about 300k chips - get a couple of levels ups to compensate.
Typically get about 600-800LPs in collecting hotels each day or from daily spin. the 1000lp sector nets just over 5k LPs when ti hits, could get more if I'd more friends added, but like the groups, I'm not going to involve anyone else apart from immediate family.
Forgot to say on last post about MyVegas- 3 nights in Aria in august and no resort fee charged (even though T&C's says it should be) . Then again it might have been neglected due to loyalty card level ..not sure!0 -
myVegas game:
Been playing since Feb on mine and wifes account.
We used 8 rewards in May this year (before everything doubled or tripled in LP cost!)
Currently have 260k on my account, and 132k on wifes account...
We average around 1500 LP's per day on both accounts...
Cos of my job, I play both accounts daily, well, I collect hotel chips all day (checking every hour, etc)... I usually build up to around 200k playing chips, then play 3000 coins per spin until it runs out, etc....
win some, lose some....
But since starting in Feb, I have raised a total of 832k in LP's, wife's account raised 497k LP's..
As said, cos the rewards now cost more, u need lots of LP's to go along way!0 -
My last top up just got approved and added, HAPPY DAYS!!!!0
