I couldn't get the website to work and the email address you provided yielded no response unfortunately so I booked via lowcostusa and paid up front. 27th (march) 3 night Rush Tower £247

I'm planning on taking around £2,000 with me to vegas. What is the best way to get the most for my money? Should i take cash? Apply for a Clarity card or load a Fair FX card?

What are the exchange rates like for these non cash methods?

I've just exhanged £2000, i fly out Saturday. I put £700 on the FXcard, $1100 that = i think and then got £1300 cash which was $2060 (post office), you can get better thou

I figured we can use the card for meals etc and not all cash if we lose it.

Rates for next Mar/Apr are similar as well.

I've just booked our first three nights at GN (thur, fri, sat) and am looking at the next three (sun, mon, tues) - so far MC is coming out around £120 both direct and via 3rd parties (excl. resort fees) and the Signature is the same (on 3rd party site but more direct, again excl fees).

We are just debating whether we want to try the Sig or go back to MC (we stayed there for a couple of nights in 2012).
For that price I think I do.

I umm and an arrr'd about cancelling the MGM Grand reservation for next week and swapping to the MC- in the end I collected enough points to make our Friday night at the MGM free - so we're gonna stay there and hope we can talk the check in staff to letting us stay in the same room all week (otherwise our last night will have to be in a petite king! - by that point we'll be so tired I expect we would happily sleep in a box which from what I hear would be quite like where we'll end up!).

We fly out Saturday - we're carrying the FairFX's for food and general shopping - cash (around £750) came from FairFX in the post - converted to around $1,200.

The clarity card is there to pick up the tab for the one hotel we haven't prepaid, which is the four nights in LV.

We shop like troopers and the FairFX's haven't let us down yet - the 5 minute top up is perfect for not converting too much into dollars in one go too.

Starting to get excited now :D

That was our thinking, i've not got the clarity card but hopefully wont need any more, you reckon £2000 is enough for 6 days...The GF aint keen on gambling but we will go out for drinks etc and general use? I'm worried, shes not!

Should be more than enough for 6 days if you ain't gambling and ain't buying whole bottles in clubs. Food and stuff is much cheaper - just remember to add the tax % to everything you buy...
