Have a safe trip! The currency arrived yesterday (same price to get it delivered as it was to load it on the FairFX card - the money is new and it stinks!) Slowly starting to realise this is actually happening - don't think it will fully hit until the dogs go of to their 'hotel' (which is costing me more per night that our Vegas king room) on Saturday morning...
I know all about the pet hotel fees. Luckily, I only have two cats now, so they stay at home and my dad moves in to take care of them. I dread to think what it would cost me for seven weeks boarding two cats.
Thanks dad, you're a life saver.0 -

Have a brilliant time Pebblesmax! Where are you staying at btw? Apologies if you've mentioned it and I've missed it.

Has anyone ever booked a car via Ebookers?
Interestingly they have 8% quidco on packages just now.
We want to fly from Glasgow to Phoenix, then drive to Flagstaff/Sedona, London Bridge/Laughlin, then Vegas. Fly home from Vegas.
There shouldn't be a one way fee with Dollar (Arizona-Nevada exception should apply). Car is £218 for Focus or similar for our trip 14 nights (next September). So, the £218 takes it to £1548 which is £1424 once we get cashback. Flights are £1311 on their own with Opodo or Netflights. £1329 with ebookers. So we'd be getting the car for £100 or so. We would only get just over 1% cashback on a flight only, £1293 minimup overall cost for flight only.
Another issue, I'd be happy to add a hotel for a couple of nights in Scottsdale to make it a package, but I can't find a company that will let me do a package with flights for only a couple of nights when combined with a multi-stop flight. I recently managed it for Bangkok/Dubai, but only because my Bangkok/Dubai connection was booked in the middle, so it wasn't really an open jaw.
Netflights allows this type of booking, but is the only one I can find, and they don't have specific better rates for packages on Quidco.
I do drive a hard bargain!!
Any suggestions welcome!!0 -

I hadn't heard of the Tuscany, so I googled it, and it looks a lovely place! Good luck in the slot tournaments!
I've heard we could be getting snow in November, so make the most of that sunshine, because that's what you could be coming back to! :rotfl:0 -

Cannot recommend this enough! I'm not normally the clubbing type, but being able to do 3 Vegas night clubs in a group of about 20 (18 of which I didn't know) of us was definitely the way to do it.
We started off at 1OAK which wasn't much to write home about, but then got on the party bus, had a couple of drinks as we headed over to Moon at the Palms, this club was awesome as it was on the 58th floor and had a balcony looking out to the strip. After that we hopped back onto the bus had another drink, and ended up at Pure in Cesars Palace, wasn't the best night club but the company made it worthwhile, and surprisingly the music wasn't too loud in any of the clubs we visited.Current Debt: 0%.Current House Deposit: 7%.0
