  • And a baby's body found in a trash can on the Strip. Very sad, these horrible stories all seem to come at once.

But given the concentration of people in and around the centre, statistically these things probably happen with less frequency than in your nearest city centre at home.

The problem with the Beatles tickets, is even if they come back in 'stock', they may not have left for you to redeem for the date you want to use them for (I gather the box office have a set amount of tickets per night allocated for myVegas use and you phone the box office to redeem your code, and get your 'real ticket' ... so when they're gone, they're gone)

That being said, refreshes used to happen at 7am Vegas time (3pm here) - can't guarantee that is still the case, but good luck anyways! :)

We're back from our two week trip to the South West, I'm very disappointed in Vegas, it's gone downhill since we were there in 2001. All those people handing out sex worker cards, it's just gross...

Just a quick one to say I thoroughly enjoyed my time in Vegas. We stayed at the Flamingo, and the room was very nice and also quiet, over looking the flamingo gardens. The location was also perfect and we even managed to walk to the sign.

The excalibur lunch buffet was pretty poor as expected. But the MGM dinner buffet was much better.

Went to see the Penn and Teller show which was excellent, also got a picture with them and their autographs.

And the Rockstar VIP night on groupon, which takes you to three night clubs in one night was an awesome experience.

Not much of a write up, but i'm still trying to settle down back to normality, now i'm home.

Curious why you are taking the old bedsheets?

Purely as the first time we went with empty suitcases they lost the suitcase (I suspect that someone thought everything had fallen out and they ditched it) - since then the other half has just old sheets or curtains in to make an empty bag weight something - chucks them when we get there (or gives them to homeless if they are around)

I'm totally serious, she goes with nothing in her bag. At all.

I've signed up to the south now, printed out some coupons and ive got a voucher for a coupon a VIP book which i can only assume is more coupons haha Thanks guys thats helped me out and helped the GF save some money!!

If you stumble into a bar and see a long haired drunk brummie then it could be me, say hi :D

But does your GF want to buy and wear stuff that was on trend 10 years ago? ;) If so then the outlets are the right place, if she wants current fashions then Town Square, Mirical Mile, and Fashion Show are the shops to head to. :D
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.

You should have seen how many there were before the crackdown:eek:

I actually thought there was a lot less of them this time. It still amazes me though, the ones who try and hand them out to the husband when it's obvious he's already with someone, and even worse, the ones that try and hand them out to the wife! I was like "really, do I look like I want a call girl?!".
