i did the skyjump, cost me $99, did it at 9:30pm (June)...
Best bit = Standing on the ledge looking all around, view by night is awesome, looks super high, etc etc.....
The decent is speed controlled, which i guess is for saftey reasons, but its almost like they control a bit too soon! not enough of the stomach in the mouth feeling!

However, i'll be doing it again this May ! :):)

I've booked the MGM Grand from May 23 for 6 nights costing a total of $1054.95. I've noticed that I can get the same room for a total of $801.94 on quickrooms.com. I called MGM reservations to enquire about their Best Room Guarantee and they said that the guarnatee only applied to their website. When I asked that exactly they were guanateeing their prices against she said she will put be through to the supervisor. He said the same rubbish so I asked to see a copy of the guanatee in writing. After being on hold for about 10 mins he told me they were in the middle of redoing the gurantee and he directed me to Aria's website to see their guarantee and terms and conditions. He said the match is not applicable to me as I booked my room over 24 hrs ago, so I said I will cancel my reservation and rebook and then submit the claim form. When I said that he told me just complete a claim form and send it in which I have done. Now I am just awaiting them to get back to me.

I will let you know how I get on.

Has anybody visited the Pawn shop as seen on the Pawn stars TV show?
    Would love to meet Chumlee!
We have been there but none of the "stars" work there anymore it seems.
They are too busy doing personal appearences and stuff. We were told that they only turn up now to record shows
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.

To be fair it does say you have to claim within 24hours, on the other hand I am surprised they didnt just adjust your rate to the same as quickrooms when you told them you would cancel and rebook.

Are you comparing like with like ie both including or excluding resort fees and taxes

Any tips how to play this myvegas game on facebook? Just started playing it and a little confused

Join the myvegasfriends group and read the files, explains everything really well. I have added friends from the group to get gift coins, i have added them to a restricted group so they cant see my personal data. The only problem with adding to a restricted group is that you cannot share your wins with them as facebook wont let you send things to people on the restricted group.

ahhhh, well, think i'll try and pull a few tricks to earn a few points anyway :)
Cancelled my Expedia booking with the Excalibur, so tonight i am gonna book direct with the hotels, then email the links & screenshots for QuickRooms.com for there better prices including the resort fee.....
Still got a budget to work, but i figured 5 nights in Excalibur, followed by 5 nights in Luxor (pyramid room).... Would have been nice to stay at Monte Carlo, but there 'Best Rate Guarantee' states they offer there deal against US$ dollar websites only! !!!!!!!!!! :D:D

So Looks like Excal & Luxor...
I chose them 2 places for the swimming pools, as we like to sunbath and like big pools!!! :D
If all goes to plan, should work out to be £397 TOTAL if we stay 10 nights at the Excal using there best rate thing, or £425 if we do 5 nights Excal and then the 5 nights at the Luxor......

    Hi,

Has anyone used or heard anything about Nite Tours before?

Am looking into booking a bar crawl with friends and want to find out if it is trustworthy or any good?

This is what we are tempted by:

Any experiences good or bad would be appreciated?
  • Hello!

Just back from 6nts in Vegas (3nts tropicana and 3nts palazzo - latter was unbelievable).

Some of the questions from last week I've got answers to as I did the papillon trip (just phoned them up one day - free calls included in resort fee), I saw penn and teller through tix4tonite and solved the wireless issues quite easily.

And to top it all we came back with $350 out of an original $1700 budget.

I'll pen a trip report as we came across some great cost cutting methods.
