Can I ask what you did differently to get it to work?
I get to the page which has my address, card details, seat details and a 'get tickets' button - basically the last stage of the process but clicking this button just seems to refresh the page and doesn't take me to a confirmation.
EDIT........ I think I might know the answer - I was trying to use a Visa debit but thinking about it they probably are looking for Visa CC. I can't try with a CC due to issues earlier in week with Lloyds but that's a whole other story!
Martmonk, I was using a Virgin MasterCard to start but it didn't give a reason it wouldn't process, just repeatedly refreshed page so thought it was an error with site. Started again using a Halifax Clarity MasterCard & it accepted it first time!0 -
Chaps.
Its my 40th on thanksgiving this year and I've decided to go to NY so why am I posting this on the LV section of the site? well the Mrs has decided she'd rather go back to Vegas so guess where we are going?
Anyway my question is whats LV like over thanks giving and the weekend following is it busier than normal? does anything happen, i.e parades/events etc. was really looking forward to the Macys day parade in NY but hey ho.
What about doing a 2 centre with a few days in each?0 -
Has anyone had this buffet at Mirage.
http://www.travelzoo.com/local-deals/Las-Vegas/Restaurant/38992
Also has anyone done the buffet at palms, which is also on Travelzoo at the moment.More importantly, has anyone done both, and which do they think is the best.
I am not really a fan of buffets, done about 3 in the past, and never thought much to them. But the wife likes them so will probably do one or the other of the Travelzoo deals. At least they come with booze supplied,I can always get my monies worth there.:beer:0 -
I've done both. They are both pretty good. Not up there with Bellagio etc, but good enough.
The Palms offer isn't such a good deal to be honest, because if you have a Palms players club card the buffet prices are heavily discounted anyway. It just takes a few minutes to sign up, and they swipe it at the buffet entrance and give you the member's price. I'll see if I can find the prices somewhere.0 -
Not seen quickrooms before, their prices seem really good. Do you know if their rates include resort fees?0
-
Here you go.
Breakfast - $8.99 regular - $5.99 club member
Lunch - $12.99 reg - $7.99 club member
Dinner - $20.99/ $25.99 regular - $13.99/$18.99 club
The different dinner prices are Fri/Sat and rest of the week.
It may be a bit out of date, but that was the price on 1 Jan, so shouldn't be far off.0 -
Looking at Quickrooms now, states i can get 2 nights in the Luxor (may 22nd to 24th) for £64, which includes the resort fee!!!
Thats good!!!
Travelrepublic quote the same, but doesnt include resort fee....
So, am guessing, i need to make a booking first with Luxor for the 2 nights, which costs alot more than £64 inc resort fee......
Then email Luxor with screen shots, etc of the QuickRooms details ????
Am keen to do this, as it looks a good deal!
I guess worst case scenario is, when booking direct with the hotel, i have to pay the deposit, but as long as i am reading it right, it states i can cancel (say next week if i want) and receive a full refund ??? So i dont lose out if Luxor dont honour the 'Best rate guarantee' offer on there website ?0 -
That's how I was reading it, but wasn't sure it definitely included the resort fee!0

Both state the confirmed rate to book, and also state the resort fee is included (unless your mexican!)
I have emailed both hotels in advance to see if they are true to there word... as i'll book both or just 1 of these, and cancel my hotel booking with expedia, and make the most of this deal!!!
They match + 10% discount, sweeeeeeeet!!!
Defo a good find! Read some reviews about quickrooms, cant find much bad stuff, been going for nearly 10 years too....0
