OK, looking for opinions on what to do in Las Vegas that will totally impress a 14 year old girl who is vegetarian, into black veil brides and generally loves being hard to make her jaw drop.
Within Vegas itself, please ( we're coming to Vegas via Sedona, Grand Canyon, Monument Valley, Bryce Canyon so she'll have done the scenery stuff ) She's been in a helicopter before, so that's off the list too.
Thanks in advance. Budget not too much of an issue on this one.:)
For shopping if she's a bit alternative thres hot topic http://www.yelp.co.uk/biz/hot-topic-outlet-las-vegas
Wynn apparently do some amazing vegetarian and vegan food.
She might also enjoy the street party atmosphere in the evening at Fremont street, downtown.
Also if she likes her sweet things there's Sugar and a whole array of amazing bakeries.
If she likes heights and thrill rides there's the Stratosphere http://www.stratospherehotel.com/Tower/Rides
There's also the worlds biggest chocolate fountain at Bellagio.DFW Nerd 267. DEBT FREE 11.06.08

Just claimed 2 for 1 lunch at the Excalibur (as we plan on spending a day down the bottom end of the strip) hopefully it's not the worst buffet in Vegas.Current Debt: 0%.Current House Deposit: 7%.0

Talking about buffets, what do you all think about the Paris buffet? I got a $10 off coupon from Groupon, so went searching to see what i could spend it on, and found this http://www.groupon.com/deals/le-village-buffet-at-paris-las-vegas-las-vegas-1 The only thing is, we don't drink wine, would they replace it with another alcoholic drink of some sort, or even just a soda?0

No its the second worst !!;)
It's one of the cheaper buffets. I wouldn't say quite as low as second worst. I've had breakfast there once, and it was ok. Just ok. I can eat breakfast at any buffet though, places that I wouldn't go for dinner - like Palace Station, Fiestas. I have no idea what their lunch is like, but I doubt it's really bad. Probably no worse than you get in hotels in Europe for example, and if you just want something to tide you over until dinner it will probably be fine.
The worst looking buffet I have ever seen is Imperial Palace. So glad I asked for a look before paying. Didn't bother. Flamingo is pretty bad. So I'm going to rank it 3rd worst, but there is probably somewhere else I don't know about that is worse. Let's face it, the buffets on the strip have really got good over the last few years. It used to be just Bellagio that was top, but now you have Wynn, Caesars, Aria, Cosmo all up there competing with the best. About half the hotels now have really decent buffets now.
Excalibur wouldn't be my choice of where to go for lunch, but then I didn't have a 2/1 so who knows if I would have considered it for a quite bite at half price. And half price would be rather cheap!0 -

The Paris buffet is good it is one of the better ones BUT the dinner deal is sold out which was def the better deal of the 2 and the queue is always loooong. I think its a good deal even if you dont have the alchohol (soda is free anyway).
the worst is possibly IP if we are sticking to strip buffets, I was talking toungue in cheek about excalibur being the worst, but it does rank in many peoples bottom 3 lists0 -

It was a bit of jest but not far from the truth.
As for them getting better I think they are getting worse.
I have eaten hundreds (possibly) of Vegas buffets sretching back about 15 years, they used to be cheap and good, most are no longer cheap and many of the good ones are no longer good IMO (PH comes to mind)
I do agree that some of the top end ones are very good but for over $50 (CP) for a buffet is just to much for a buffet anywhere, I would rather get waiter service for that price0
