$60 for breakfast seems abit much, and so does $100 for dinner for that matter. You should be able to spend a lot less than that on your food.
They were my upper end food choices - I definitely want to go to Mon Ami Gabi for breakfast
There will be days were In n Out Burger will on the cards though definitely0 -
Places we went which I thought to be of normal sizes...
Memphis BBQ (also not as good as I hoped!)
Stripburger (burger was normal size, granted the fries were slightly more than we get!)
Tacos & Tequilla (enchillada's were not big, seemed more about presentation!)
And any take-away places were same sizes as we get, like In n Out, Jack in the Box (now this place was niiiiiice!)....
Other food places we went to were either buffet, pizza, or Harleys which I know is bigger!!
ok, I will admit, Fresh Grill & Bar in PH shops (lunch) was a big sandwich compared to the rubbish we get here....
Hash/cheesecake are defo on my list for next year....
I guess with so many places in Vegas to munch, I guess its knowing your places to go, etc..
Never did breakfast, as we wake up, grab coffee and hit the pool! pop out for 1hr to grab lunch and then back to the pool (most think were nuts going all that way just to sunbath for 6 hours a day!!)0 -

Just had a look at their menu, and they have a fantastic choice! That's another one for our long list of eateries!0 -

Yeah, personally I couldn't do it, I get fidgety and bored after about 10 minutes though! I have to be up and doing something. An ex work colleague of mine though, goes to Egypt most years and just sunbathes the whole time. I guess some people enjoy it and it's their way of switching off and relaxing.0 -

Someone at work recommended it to me, if you wait for a table on the terrace then you get a good view of the Bellagio Fountains - there are some awesome pictures on the TripAdvisor Review Page. Its a little pricey for dinner though!0 -

Agreed, we will try out the pool and lazy river when we go, but I can't see us lasting more than 2 hours max - and even then I'd need a kindle to keep me occupied!0 -

We have been several times to MAG for breakfast and have never spent more than $50 between us. That is with a couple of mains, coffee and Bloody Mary's. go on Saturday or Sunday when they have the BM bar. They just give you a glass of vodka and you go up to a special display bar and add your own ingredients, all for $10.
Also go before 9am and you get to watch all the drunks walking home from the clubs, worth the price of the breakfast in itself. The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.0 -

Mich81 - if you're planning on going to Mon Ami for brekkie and to see the fouintains at the same time then you might want to reconsider. They start at 3pm weekdays and 12 noon at weekends.
I double checked to make sure I wasn't going mental so here's the link which details the exact timings http://www.bellagio.com/attractions/fountains-of-bellagio.aspx
Skip breakfast, have an early light bite for lunch and then go to Mon Ami between 6 and 7. The wait for terrace *should* be minimal.
EDIT - Just spotted the small print about 11am start on Sundays so a late brekkie/early lunch on a Sunday could be an option.0 -
Oh thanks, I didn't realise that - all the reviews I read mentioned eating and watching the fountains and I didn't even consider that the fountains weren't on all day! That would've been a disappointing visit otherwise!0
