I can't believe I forgot Hash House a Go Go (Quad/IP is the strip location)...I have never finished more than 1/2 of my breakfast there.

nor the apple pancake at the OPH.
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

I always find American portions huge, but then again I'm the sort of person who struggles to finish any meal over here too!

Same here :) I have a fairly decent appetite, but when we are on holiday, it just seems to disappear, last time I struggled to eat much at all, and virtually lived off Doritos and red bull! :rotfl:

We find the portion sizes to be huge too, I always remember my husband ordering some blueberry pancakes for breakfast, and to say it would have done for breakfast and lunch is an understatement!

We've been looking at loads of different places to go and eat though, food seems to be featuring more on the agenda this time.

The Cheesecake factory is in Caesars Palace near the animatronic statues in the Forum Shops (which they are actually updating at the moment), we've walked past it loads of times, but have never been in yet, but I fancy giving it a try!
Also Grand Lux Caf! at Venetian is run by Cheesecake Factory

That's how much we are taking for the two of us. We don't really drink a lot, or even gamble that much either. We do like shopping though, and the list for things to do is gradually getting longer, so I'm starting to wonder if that is actually going to be enough? I think if you budget wisely, then it should be fine.

I looked at a few different menus from various restaurants, and even having a breakfast at say Mon Ami Gabi in Paris would only be $60 for 2, then a mid priced dinner maybe $100 for 2 all in, which would still leave the same again for 'incidentals' (shopping!)

Although thinking of putting each days budget into an envelope, then whatever is left at night setting aside and that can be the shopping budget on the last day of the holiday at Town Square LV :rotfl:

As you said previously when talking budgets, how long is a piece of string

$60 for breakfast!! we rarely spend that in the evening,

Often breakfast for us is a buffet at Orleans so less than $15 for 2.

We have been known to have an In n Out in the evening, again less than $15 for 2

That's what I'm thinking of doing too regarding money, then whatever's left can be spent at the Forum Shops! :D

$60 for breakfast seems abit much, and so does $100 for dinner for that matter. You should be able to spend a lot less than that on your food.

Just found out that now they're getting rid of Peepshow at the PH, Meatloaf is going to be doing a 6 week residency there, called Rocktails and Cocktails, a mixture of talking (Q&A's), and singing. I'm not a huge ML fan, but I do like a lot of his songs, and it's convenient for us too, as it's in our hotel! So, depending on the price of tickets, that'll probably be something we'd go and see.

Also one of my favourite bands (Motley Crue) have a residency at Hard Rock too, but I've seen them 3 times already, and the last time I saw them I wasn't that impressed, it pains me to say this, but they're not at their best live :( So we're not sure if we want to go to that or not.

Also Elton John is on at Caesars Palace which is maybe something else to go and see.
