Remember to check that the resort fee is included in this price as its $20 per night extra which would be an extra $140 for the week.
Maybe worth looking at netflights.com as I booked with them recently and they price matched against the likes of lowcostusa.co.uk etc, they are part of the Thomas Cook group.
The resort fee wasn't included, and was actually cheaper through TC, but it still works out alot cheaper to book the room ourselves.0 -
Anyhow, as we're booking it sort of last minute as it were, and we originally planning the 1st Sept, then we discovered the end of August was actually cheaper, well, when the DH went to book his holidays off work (there's only one other person who he can't take holidays off with), that week was taken, typical! So it looks like its back to the original date, but when I checked on lastminute.com the TC flight seems to have gone for that week....I'll have to go down again to the shop tomorrow.0

Gutted - just seen that yesterday, there was a one-day special offer on for Cosmo... it was every Wednesday till the end of September was free if you booked for at least a 2 night stay!
Would've been interested in seeing the prices for that
If it comes up again and anyone see's it, can you please post here?Ta!
THe prices for the two night varied on dates/days. We booked:
Room Type: TERRACE STUDIO - FOUNTAIN VIEW
Room Subtotal: $ 215.00
Estimated Room Tax: $ 25.80
Resort Fee Subtotal: $50.00
Estimated Resort Fee Tax: $6.00
Estimated Reservation Total: $ 296.80
the 1 bedroom fountain view was $235, the bog standard city room was $1600 -
Thanks!
Suppose I wondered if anyone knw the min connection time international to domestic rather than should I book it or not, I've been googling and can't seem to find anything definitive, I'll probably give Easy Jet a call.
As a wee follow up, I found this...
http://www.easyjet.com/book/missed-flight-cover
Perfect for my circumstance so I think I'll be taking this option, thought I would share in case others could use. Only problem is I can't find it on the website to add on when making my flight purchase.. Will call them tomorrow.0 -

Looks OK, just a word of warning, they only gtee to get you on the next available flight (who knows when that might be?)
you have to ring an unknown number (after going to the sales desk)or at least I cant find it, although it will be on the policy and there is no indication of how much it costs to call that number.
you have to be within 4 hours of your flight time so if you are delayed more than that you still wont be covered0 -

exactly, the next available flight might not be the next flight timewise if flights are full that day0 -
Sounds like a lot of hassle and paying more for the slim chance of getting the earlier flight. Queues at immigration can be awful -have you allowed for that ?
Personally I'd have a long hot shower at the airport and lunch at the airport -or even hop on a local train off airport and treat it as a part of the holiday rather than submit myself to the stress of a will I/won't I situation on the transatlantic.
If fares are cheap enough would there be any point in booking yourself on both flights ?I Would Rather Climb A Mountain Than Crawl Into A Hole
MSE Florida wedding .....no problem0 -
