Flying all legs but flight to Vegas is via Newark so 1 stop.
I think it still offers value, I don't really follow the prices of connecting flights, preferring directs'.
If you're happy then it is a good deal.
I'm sure you've sorted out the names etc on the tickets so they match the passports, I would think that the missus is using her maiden name etc.

Thanks for your input.
Yes thought about the name changes, all that stuff will be done after the honeymoon I think, less hassle.
Whats the 'normal' price for a direct flight return to the UK in May?
I remember back in Sept 2009 when I last went to Vegas I got a return flight from Glasgow with 1 connection in Philly for £332! Those days seem long gone!

Hello guys-long time lurker on this forum since my first trip to vegas way back in 2008.
I've been reading the posts about booking from other starting destinations like dublin and amsterdam.
I've tried using the Viring/BA sites and cant seem to get the flights to start in the right destinations- can anyone please tell me what sites you use to book these flights.
This will trip will be for a wedding (only 4 of us going) so I've been asked to sort the flights. The plan is a week in vegas then a week somewhere else maybe Mexico/Carribean etc.
Thanks for your help and apologies if this is answered elsewhere in the thread.
Hi, I've been using Kayak.co.uk as you can choose multi destinations and it searches most airlines so I would give that a go if you havent already.0 -
I've sent you a couple of other sites to use too.
You can do a Mexican cruise out of LA which might be a nice alternative too.
I've been doing heaps of research on Vegas wedding venues -There's some interesting choicesI Would Rather Climb A Mountain Than Crawl Into A Hole

We stayed at the Cosmo earlier this week. Definitely no problems with cleanliness for us. Our room was spotless and the staff could not do more to help you. The hotel does obviously attract the more youthful partying type but plenty of older people too. We went to the bamboo pool each day, very mellow and space available at 10-11am.
Our room was in the west tower 3121, overlooking the fountains with a balcony and Japanese soaking tub which also overlooked the fountains.
On the subject of upgrades we never tried the $20 as we had heard they rarely take them and just offer to upgrade for the cash price.
The $90 we spent upgrading was ok as I had secured the room with a marriot price match against a net flights quote.
Oh and the $100 free play for signing up to the identity card was not on when we were there.
Long time lurker on this board but couldn't resist posting as we were nearly neighbours. We checked in the Cosmo on Friday and we are room 3123 in the west tower, so right next door.
On the subject of Cosmo though, we are loving it, our room is gorgeous and it was spotlessly clean, we had a battle with the maid yesterday as she was adamant she wanted to clean our room at 10am but we didn't want her too as we got married yesterday and needed to stay in our room til the limo picked us up at 2pm
It was absolutely crazy over the weekend here though as it was the Electric Daisy Carnival and it was literally heaving! We were told there was an extra 400,000 people in Vegas because of it, thankfully it's a lot less manic now.
There are a lot of young people as the Cosmo has a trendy modern vibe, we do feel a bit old to be here and we are 31 and 32 but the rooms with the balconies and the fountain views make this hotel a winner for me over the other hotels in Vegas by a clear mile!
Also, on another note the C.O. Bigelow toiletries provided here are amazing!0 -

We check-in in 10 days, hoping to secure a fountain view upgrade. For those of you who've stayed within the last 6 months or so: how much can we expect to pay roughly? We got a cheap deal through Lowcostusa so can handle the extra upgrade cost as long as its not $$$$
Congrats by the way:staradmin There is no normal, only typical :staradmin0 -

Can you also forward the sites to me as well for a look. I'm doing Vegas/LA/Mexico

for those of you who have booked show tickets via My Vegas have any of you done so after it went down to one per person? I'm assuming that if both me and my hubby redeem for a ticket to a show - then we can call and give them both our codes and get seats together - is that how it works?Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0

Also worth looking at Brussels (BRU) or Madrid (MAD) as a starting pointThe common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.0
