If you are not set on Virgin, try Thomas Cook http://www.flythomascook.com/

I think they have flights available until October 2014.

Thanks for that, the prices look at bit on the expensive side yet at around £700pp for the dates I want.

The holidays are much more reasonably priced, but am a bit wary of leaving a hotel room empty for a couple of days in case I decide on a trip to LA part way through the holiday - any idea if this could cause a problem?

Might be a slightly wacky question, but has anyone used a laundry service in a Vegas hotel - and ideally at the Flamingo? Any ideas of cost and level of service?

I'm staying there for 4 days half way through my trip from Salt Lake City to San Francisco, and wondering if this is an option to make more room in the cases.

Wacky?! No sir! You have come to the right place my friend, we love a bit of Vegas laundry!

Personally I always book a room with a washer dryer, in-house laundry services usually work out very expensive.

There are a few coin laundries dotted about off Strip which would be much more economical I think.

Virgin can give you the prices instore for then just now if you ask.
£700 doesnt sound to bad to me for a direct flight. When are you looking for? Vegas flight prices seem to have shot up so ive bit the bullet and just booked it, as found the changing at philly a nightmare last time flying from Manc and the Virgin flight when we did it was rubbish so will stick to TC for ease

I've left a hotel room a few times as we always head somewhere else for a couple of days, Ive just told them at reception and its never been an issue.

Also - I managed to get TC to price match quidcos £50 cash back they where offering on Friday, so I know I'm paying over the odds really going with them, but at least it was a bit off. The deal was 3.5% plus £50 and they'd only go as far as the £50 off but its better than nothing.

As [STRIKE]appointed [/STRIKE] self proclaimed supreme grand pooba of the MSE laundry team I hereby convey to you all our wisdom on this subject. Stay at the Platinum (the rooms have a washer/dryer)...........
Or if you must stay anywhere else you can visit the world famous "Wizard of Sudz" and do your laundry there. However there are hotels that also have laundry rooms, but using the launder service of a hotel is going to be costly.
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.

Another option would be to do the washing before leaving Utah -seemed to be laundrettes everywhere -Provo especially so (presumably because of the BYU students).

Flamingo has a laundry service but it is aimed at business people pricewise so is expensive.

Wizard of Sudz is just up past the Palms. They do a "Fluff and Fold" service too(what we call a service wash) drop off -and collect later all nicely dried and folded.

That sounds like the sort of thing I'm after. Don't want to spend the time messing about doing it myself, would much rather someone looked after it for me, so teh service wash idea sounds perfect. Any idea of cost?

I pass through Provo 3 days before getting to LV - have stops at Torrey, Monument Valley & Bryce to go before getting there.
