If you do decide to book through Virgin, join the frequent flyers club if you haven't already. I got 7% off the cost of the holiday just for being a member, as well as the air miles.

And even better if you book through a Virgin travel agent based in House of Fraser, you can use your HoF rewards card. :)

That sounds like the sort of thing I'm after. Don't want to spend the time messing about doing it myself, would much rather someone looked after it for me, so teh service wash idea sounds perfect. Any idea of cost?

I pass through Provo 3 days before getting to LV - have stops at Torrey, Monument Valley & Bryce to go before getting there.

I am seriously envious -I love Utah.

About $10-12 dollars I think maybe a bit less...... Handy for Palms , Rio and Gold Coast so no problem finding stuff to do nearby if you want that.

Hmmm I wonder if you're supposed to tip them ?

How did we end up on laundry again!

    Last question - I hope!

I can't see any reference to resort fees on the TC website - does anyone know if these are included in the price?

Virgin are coming up quite a bit pricier for my dates - I know they're supposedly better to fly with, but does anyone have any opinion on whether its worth the extra?

I've flown TC long haul before and wasn't massively impressed, but never Virgin!

    Thanks :)

As [STRIKE]appointed [/STRIKE] self proclaimed supreme grand pooba of the MSE laundry team I hereby convey to you all our wisdom on this subject. Stay at the Platinum (the rooms have a washer/dryer)...........
Or if you must stay anywhere else you can visit the world famous "Wizard of Sudz" and do your laundry there. However there are hotels that also have laundry rooms, but using the launder service of a hotel is going to be costly.
Tuscany just around the corner from Platinum also has laundry services for a very low price.

Starting to feel nervous now - all these excited posts about people going soon, and with 2 months to go, I'm beginning to worry that our trip could be cancelled.

The wife has been in hospital for the last 3 weeks, has only just been diagnosed and informed that the body will repair itself and there's nothing we can do so either:

    a) it'll be a brilliant trip, and much deserved
    b) cancelled (travel insurance should cover most of the cost)
    c) it'll be a rubbish trip, cos she won't be in a position to properly enjoy it

I'm trying not to dwell on things too much at the moment, as there's a fair amount of time before we go yet :) *I keep telling myself* :D

Whatever happens, and i'm only mentioning this as I know its been mentioned before, but I'm glad we've got travel insurance (£30'ish) and no worries about the cash aspect. If we have to postpone, then we have to postpone :)

We have always both been in good health, and under 30 years old, you don't expect these things to happen! (... but that's the point of insurance, right?) :)
