so sorry to hear that nvh, hope you're both doing ok and that you get to enjoy the holiday! but if it's not meant to be, then you can hopefully postpone and 'look forward' to it all over again :)
the anticipation for me is sometimes as exciting as the trip itself, nothing like that feeling when you make that final 'click' to book!

How does an r.com evoucher work?

e.g. Do I buy a $25 evoucher for $5, and then later on exchange it for a Luigis Trattoria $25 voucher?

Thanks secretmachines - I've spent the last few weeks trying to do business as usual (in a sense), in the hope that things will get better for the trip, so essentially just trying to stay organised - even got 5 myVegas rewards (across both our accounts) now we're within the 90 days!

Just going to have to see what happens :)

18 days now for us :j

Sorry to ponder on the laundry question but I have another one to add to the mix (may be simple I know, but I just need to be sure...)

Planning on using the well recommended Wizard o' Suds for the aforementioned $10-$12 dollars for the fluff n' fold service - is this for what I would call a 'full load' (based on standard UK domestic machines)?

We're not going to have loads and loads of washing but this year don't have a stay in an apart-hotel with a washer like previous years (we have Cosmo, M, Four Seasons and Mandarin) and are flying TC so only have 20kg luggage (unlike previous years with 23kg and an extra case each)

Our last trip was March and nothing booked yet but I'm working on it! Trouble is we have weekends in Paris (for end of TdF) and Rome (for anniversary) this year before I can start thinking about next.

hopefully something there for someone though.

Ponder away - we love laundry here.
Laundrette machines in the US are a little larger than the machines you see over here. So yes - I'd be surprised if it was more than $10 TBH
Have you thought about trying the $20 trick at Cosmo and seeing if they can upgrade you to a room with a washer.

    Ohhhh, good post!
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.
