Cheesecake factory is very busy - I think there's only the one in Forum Shops at Caesars.
Have you also looked up Grand Luxe Cafe (at Venetian and also at Palazzo). They're owned by the same company, but I have a feeling they might be less busy and better atmosphere. I've only eaten at Cheesecake Factory at Caesar's and it's really quite manic.
You should also consider a nice buffet. Wynn has more of a restaurant feel to it. They have 2 seating sections - the patio and the other area. You would probably want a nice spot not on the patio. Patio sounds nice, but it's actually the entrance area, and while nice enough to sit on for a normal occasion, the other bit is nicer and more restaurant-like. I believe Wynn offer a champagne bump on all buffets - ie you can pay for unlimited champagne for $12. I'm sure the girl told us this when we were at brunch one time.0 -
one of the nice buffets is a really good idea for the wedding breakfast... i'm sure with correspondence beforehand, one of the buffets would look after you and set you aside a nice area.
the buffets really do offer everything pretty much and people can have as much/little as they like, and not likely to be any foie gras in sight... so I'd give that some thought. The Wicked Spoon buffet at The Cosmopolitan is really nice, and the new (reopened Sept 2012) buffet at Caesars is good, though maybe a little on the pricey side. We've always liked the Aria buffet, and that's just been refurbed too.
although Cheesecake Factory is definitely one of those drop-in restaurants, and maybe a bit more "every day" rather than a special destination, their menu is really extensive, huge portions as mentioned, and LOTS of cheesecake choice! I'd be more than happy to have my wedding breakfast there, never had a bad meal there!0 -

Been to Wynn buffet twice (to expensive to go often) and have seen wedding parties in there both times, agree it is a nice setting
seen wedding parties in most buffets to be fair though0 -
I read a TR on another forum, that wedding party had their meal at Wicked Spoon, they had pre arranged it with The Cosmo and they also provided a wedding cake. A buffet may be a good choice if there are varied tastes within the group but it would it obviously be help yourself as opposed to receiving restaurant service. As has been said previously you see brides all over so you won't look out of place.0

it does sound like a buffet might be a good solution - though I know some would not want their post-wedding meal to be at a buffet...it would be quite Vegassy and something we've all seen...so not like the first to do it...would be down to the individuals involved to know if it would suit them but agree that Vegas buffets will cover most of the standard carvery options (plus a whole lot more)...not 100% sure if Wicked Spoon would be the best option if it's a picky group since they seem to have more unusual offerings than many ...quite heavy on Asian and fusion dishes (which was great for me - and let's not forget the mac & cheese station!) though they do have a wide variety - it wouldn't suit some like one of my best friends who hated the Aladdin buffet back in the day but loved Luxor as it was 'American food'.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0

Agree but also have to be careful as they will put a hold against the card that's used so those funds would be locked up for the duration of the stay.
If this is still current it would be $100/night hold on a card...so if someone doesn't have enough additional available (over and above what they would want for spending) then it could be an issue.

So if there's any concern would be worth looking into the alternate cash deposit option.

I've stayed in Harrahs a few times over the last couple of years. From my experiences of staying at there (durations between 6 - 10 nights), if you pay for the room when you are checking in and advise that you will not charge anything to the room you prob won't have to worry about having a hold put on your card or paying out a cash deposit. I've never been asked to pay it / have a hold put on funds on my card (but maybe I've just been lucky with this).

Just back from the Flamingo and this was the case. I said I will not be charging anything to the room and the helpful desk attendant duly did not put a hold on my card.
With regards to construction noise, I did not hear a thing. I was in a GO room on the 21st floor (strip view).0 -
I did wonder why you were avoiding anywhere that serves Foie Gras, rather than just avoiding eating it. I'm vegetarian, so wasn't even that sure what it was. Searched using google  Awful.
I'm going to Vegas for the first time in August and both me and my partner are veggie... can you suggest any places to eat that cater well for veggies???

I hope it's better when you get there.
It's horrible today - my mother-in-law has taken her Dad for a week (he's 85) as he wants to see where we got married 2 years ago (he couldn't come to the wedding as was nursing his wife who we lost a week after we got back).
He's always wanted to see the Grand Canyon so they flew out this morning from Henderson, got there and couldn't land so have been turned back :-(:staradmin There is no normal, only typical :staradmin0 -

If you have transport go to the one at 750 S Rampart Blvd, Las Vegas, NV, Its about 20 mins by car but the food & service are better than at Ceasers, you can sit outside with a fountain.Totally Debt Free & Mortgage Free Semi retired and happy0
