3 months to go till we fly off to Vegas to get married! Everything is now booked, we got a good deal at The Signature for 8 nights, flying with Virgin, then we are doing a road trip via Mammoth Lakes to San Francisco for 3 nights.

Tioga Pass could be hit and miss early/mid June. Also, Mammoth will be ....COLD once the sun goes down. Temps will not be much above zero (if at all!). If it's open, I'd recommend the mountain biking and if its not ski in the morning and hit one of the golf courses in the afternoon.

Also, better half struggled with the altitude for a few days last time we were there (staying up at the ski resort rather than lower down in town), something to bear in mind if you are going for an activity based stop.

taken out the Fontainebleau reference... Stardust/Echelon is on Fashion Show side, Fontainebleau on the Wynn side

Thanks for the info..we are literally just stopping there for one night on our road trip to San Franciso.. but the temp info and altitude is a big help! thanks.

Not that i am counting like!!!

    10 days.
    neener neener. ;)

Not that I am counting either...it cannot come soon enough...now if only we could win the lottery and/or Megabucks.
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

    Hi

We are looking forward to our first trip to Vegas this Saturday (yeaahhh) to celebrate my 40th birthday. We are staying at Bally's.

Can someone confirm whats the norm for tipping out there - especially in the rooms - do you tip the cleaner daily or upon departure? How much? We are staying in a standard classic room.

    Thanks :-)

We are right behind you. Are you going for NASCAR again? Sorry we aren't going to be able to meet this time. Maybe if you win a jackpot or two you'll stay on for a bit longer.

Where have you booked for mammoth lakes? We are looking at stopping off there on our way back to SFO.
