Do a seach for cars on CH3000 in Vegas airport, the Chrylser 300c deal shows up as airport for £213.89 inc fuel.....
Then do same search but include all areas in Vegas, you see the same deal for the airport, then you see the same deal giving an address of Swenson street....
Do a google search, and there you see Dollar rental
So:
Swenson & Treasure Island pickups will be Dollar
Airport could be any supplierHowever, I get the feeling Dollar use TownCars instead of the Chrysler 300c, but i could be wrong!0 -

Seen this...thankfully my hotels are already booked, however I wonder if they will allow those who booked in advance to take advantage of these features? Although I suspect you will but for the room fee price
Anyways news of the £ plummeting is not sitting well with me, the only hope is things steady up before I head out in June...although I doubt it very much
3 months and 10 days to go :rotfl:0 -
swneson just outside the airport, but no idea if they do airport drop off's....
Either way, works out a good deal if u like Towncars, or 300c's if u get one!0 -

yes, you will be able to use what you want for the daily fees stated for those items...I would imagine there's a strong chance you would be given the option to pay the resort fee instead of buying what you want a la carte too...so if you would use enough of the services to warrant paying the resort fee I do not think you would have an issue doing so.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -

I would be suprised if they do airport drop-offs since most people wanting to return to the airport would book to drop off at the consolidated rental facility and not another location?
'just off the airport' is a bit like 'right there, I can see it, let's just walk' in Vegas, I think.
Rentals from the airport/consolidated facility are hit with the fee for the facility...off-airport pickups aren't...but sometimes the off-airport prices are higher for the rental itself than if you pick up at the airport, so it is sometimes 6 of one, half dozen of the other...on the US site you can see how the rates break down into actual charges and fees.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -
true true!
However, just seen that Dollar are doing the Premuim car rental for the same rate from Treasure Island.....
I am soooooooooooo tempted to book from TI the prem, as hopefully u can return to the airport (dont mind if they charge $10 either as cheaper than a cab!)
I dont want a town car, would feel like a cop from Law & Order if i had one of those!
Anyone recently had a car from Dollar at TI ? remember seeing many Chrysler 300c's ?!
** CRIKEY!! **
Looking on the Alamo UK website, for 1 week in May, the convertable is coming up the cheapest!!!
States 2 door Sebring or similar for £140, and when i add the fuel/add driver option, comes to £170 total!
Now that is a SUPER Rate!!!!
As long as i havent done anything wrong, i think i should book that today!
It was gonna cost me £169 for the same setup with Dollar, and that was for an intermediate car!!!
Anyone hired a convertable from Alamo Vegas ?? is it a Sebring or Mustang ?!or do they allow you to pick a car from a row of cars (converts..)

LolThanks for sharing how you found it! I'm considering USrentacar and thrifty. 297.00 including the cancellation/amendment insurance, but no fuel. Last year they came up trumps around april time. Dollar had 20% off all rates, so i had a SUV,petrol and additional drivers for £310.00 :T
Carhire3000 work out £2 cheaper, than USR. Using your system, i'd say it's thrifty. With the falling pound my Alamo brits rental is now more expensive, so a switch is very likely.:A Your Always in my heart, you never ever will be forgotten-9/9/14:heart2:0 -
I just booked 1 week Convertable with Alamo.co.uk with the tank of fuel + wife to drive = £170
Cheapest out of all the cars! How strange ?!! Booked and pre-paid that is
So now, gotta find out what kinda cars they keep (chrys 200's? mustangs? cameros ? eclipse's ? )Oh well, dollar express wont be getting used this year!

Do you know if they charge taxes for the additional drivers:
I don't know for sure.
I pre-paid Alamo Brits when booking, then filled in the Save Time, at which point my adding another driver's details resulted in an extra line on my final confirmation showing the driver by name at an additional $10.99 plus taxes per day.
This happened last time also, but I cleared it up with the rental clerk when collecting the car, and was not charged the extra.
To be honest, I would have saved time if I hadn't done the Save Time.
Its a bit confusing, and I wouldn't like to say whether the additional driver tax is included, or even if by naming an additional driver on Save Time they assume thats a fourth driver over and above the three included additional drivers, hence it showing as a charge.
I can only confirm I wasn't charged last time for the same thing.0 -
I was looking at 7 and 8 May and I think I booked for the 8th otherwise we would have been at the same table!
IIRC the tables behind, Table 28, etc are raised above the main floor. Tables 22, 23, etc were in the next price bracket the last two times we have gone so getting these for the same price is a steal.
Glad your wife is happy. Major brownie points for you.
We could have gone on the 8th but its our last night and like to leave that for gambling:D, looks like we have good seats must admit i did like Crazy Horses and understand they do that in the show0
