Moneyless Mac, have you tried the Paula's Choice stuff? I broke out at age 40 too and nothing seemed to make a difference until I tried their 2% BHA lotion. It's about £25 including delivery.
  • Thanks to everyone offering advice regarding my skin - have spent the evening looking at the beauty mouth website and have new tips to try. After a full year of it I have to accept there will be no quick fix.

On a positive note another UU - No3 Body shop Satsuma body butter WBA but have a sizable stash already.

Noelphobic (of Edmunds? I can understand why), one of my neighbours worked out who I was from an anonymous set of posts on another board about her unreasonable behaviour and screamed at me in the street like a deranged fishwife. So I feel your pain!

No I havent tried this one (heads off to google) - to be fair had reasonable skin until last year so its a fairly recent problem. At first put it down to being busy/hormones/run down etc just starting to accept this seems to be new skin type!

  • Thanks ever so much for the friendly welcome from so many people :) I'm really glad I posted now. Noelphobic, I did read about what happened to you recently but didn't want to highlight it as I thought it would be unfair however it's that nastiness and 'pack mentality' I was referring to. I think it's a real shame as it's threads like those that keep people away from posting and from some good advice and support.

Will hopefully post my stash list later, it's been good to do it and has really brought home the amount I've spent :/ thankfully I have been half doing the challenge for a few months it was much worse before.

  • One more UU this evening: Ren neroli and grapefruit body cream.

Lovely scent, sinks in quickly with absolutely no greasiness, WIBA? Definitely once I use up the rest of the two litres of body lotions and creams I have left in the stash!
  • I was really good today. I had used my Boots points to buy a Boss Orange gift set, saving me £26 and i saw in the sale section a Ralph Laurence Romance gift set for £24 and as i had £15 worth of vouchers it only cost me £8.99 so at least thats 2 christmas presents bought very cheaply already put away for next year.

Didn`t buy anything else though, i normally canny leave without buying something i really dont need like more make up or deoderants or something like that but if i,m honest i dont normally wear a lot of make up and well deoderants...i could sell them back to Boots!!

Time to use up my stash before it goes off and that would drive me mad lol

So here it goes. At least now I can see where my problems lie. You might imagine me as an Oompa Loompa type - I promise I'm not! The most ironic and thing is I never use the stuff (hence why I have so many in my stash as I've tried them all and never finished the ones I don't get on with).

I'm not including samples as I simply cannot face adding them to my spreadsheet then copying herel. Also I don't stash the boring stuff like toothpaste, sunblock etc. And I don't really have too much make-up so haven't included that either (although I could do with spending less on make-up anyway lol).
