Ok, I suck at this! Went out to the shops for something to do! Came back with a no7 lip and eye set, a Trevor sorbie minis pack (4 items) a boots therapy ocean fresh shower foam (on sale) and a dove body wash twin pack
I also bought another hair set which had 3 products and curlers in under the guise of it being for dd (7.5) who LOVES curly hair but has very fine hair that the curls just drop out of!
Oopsie! Naughty SJ! I am however, out of boots points now.No more unnecessary toiletries Feb 2014 INS: 24 UU: 13. Mar 2014. INS: lost count, naughty step for me! UU: 80 -
Aw sorry to hear this - sounds awful.
Can I recommend that you look at Caroline Hiron's blog called Beauty Mouth? Its a blog about skincare.
I discovered it a few days ago and I am converted to her mantra's. She gives lots of good, sensible advice and is making me reconsider my skin care routine. Could be that you need to change your products or take some supplements?
Have a look and see what you think.
Here's a second for that, I read original comment just before I went out and have come back here intending to suggest Beauty Mouth too, great minds etc;
As well as reading all the Cheat sheets that are relevant, if you have time read through all the "clinic" postings, stacks of great information here. i.e. Cleanse not use face wipes, don't use overly harsh products, oil is good if it is not mineral oil, steady with the use of the Clarisonic etc, etc.The best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time. Firt 2 use up's for 2013
Gatineau Futur Plus eye cream 15 ml HG for me, have 30ml in stock, but hope to use assorted Emma Hardie, Balance Me, ESPA minis first.
Lush Coconut powder. Not sure if they still do this, but love the smell and it is a great quick freshen up or fine on it's own for a winter at home day.
A few more things spluttering, so Jan might be an OK month, but it is bound to slow down for a while.
Boots had OS shower gels at £1.15 today, but I managed to come out with only cold spray and cold pads for my joints, so quite pleased. Just as well as dear dog seems to have injured her foot, trip to Vet this evening scheduled:eek: We cancelled the pet insurance as the excess was quite high, and we are fortunate to be able to meet everyday stuff from income and hope that she will not need any huge expenses, if so I might have to sell OH:rotfl:or as she is most definitely his dog, I think he would be selling me:eek:The best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time. Moneyless Mac (hope that's right)
I recommend La Roche Posay for problem skin. I am not using it at the moment in a bid to finish everything else then go back to it. It is very gentle but I found it to be effective. I also like Clean and Clear moisturiser as a treatment, just pile a blob on problem areas and let it absorb.
I double cleanse too, first with a basic cleanser removed with cotton pads then follow with a hot cloth cleanser.
Have the first uu of the year
Vaseline aloe fresh deo spray. WBA but for now have replaced it with a Sanex one.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler

Many apologies for being so absent in December - I had an exam and then got busy at Christmas. I've just caught up and it's lovely to be reading and back again
I hope everyone had a lovely Christmas, and wishing us all a very happy 2013 x
I have been in a massive cleaning mood today and have all my beauty products laid out on my bed. I am sitting amongst them as I write... toiletry heavenI've decided having them all in a big chest of drawers makes me confused, so I'm going to put all the ones I'm not currently using in an easily accessible box in my wardrobe, and my current stuff divided between a drawer in my room and a shelf in the bathroom. Love a bit of reorganisation! Big thanks to the challenge - I can now occupy much less space than I used to. I never would have been able to fit my stuff in 3 small areas before. & Looking forward to using up the rest of my stash this year.
Ins from the Boxing Day Sales:
1. Body Shop Vineyard Peach Shower Gel 250ml - not usually a peachy person but I am coming to the end of my current bottle of this and love it, and only £2 in the sale
2. Sanctuary Body Butter Set with 3 x 100ml different body butters
UU, some from December:
1. Sensodyne Pronamel Daily Toothpaste 75ml - WNBA, I need to use enamel building paste but the taste of this made me feel sick. I have the extra fresh version of this to use next, hopefully that is better.
2. Liz Earle Instant Skin Boost Tonic 200ml spritzer & 50ml bottle - on first use I didn't really find anything special about it, but whilst I have been using it up, I LOVE it! I am using my final 30ml spritzer up at the moment, and may actually need to repurchase it! First impressions are deceiving hey!
3. Elizabeth Arden 8 Hour Cream for Face 50ml - WBA, love that it's so moisturising - perfect for winter and it has sPF 15.
4. Original Source Raspberry & Vanilla Shower Cream 250ml - WBA, love the milkshake scent
5. Boots Traditional Cold Cream 200ml - I repurposed this as a body cream as I didn't think I'd use it much as a face wash in its own right & it was absolutely lovely as a body cream! Perfectly moisturising - I am very tempted to repurchase this at some point to use as a body cream.
6. Balance Me Rose Lip Salve - nice, & almost finished but top of tube opened up and was covering me/my bag in goo so threw it away. Would not buy full price but would pick up again if on the front of a magazine again!
GA to my mum as she liked the scent of these:
Chanel No. 5 100ml & Gucci Flora 75ml
TA
Figs & Rouge Lip Balm 8ml - gone off

Found another 10 products in a tub in my room so added to my inventory. Now gonna tidy up my list by listing by type which will hopefully help me in my UU task!No more unnecessary toiletries Feb 2014 INS: 24 UU: 13. Mar 2014. INS: lost count, naughty step for me! UU: 80

Currently I'm using this for the first cleanse:
http://www.boots.com/en/Superfacialist-Rose-Hydrate-Cleanser-150ml_1277154/
Then Emma Hardie balm for the second one. I LOVE this and it's nearly finished. *sob* I have a Liz Earle cleanser (the limited edition rose + lavender one) that I'll finish up first and then repurchase EH one when I can justify it!
The boots one is a good price! I think I am going to take the plunge with EH balm and see how I get on with it. The reviews are very good and I've done alot of research on it, so fingers crossed that it is as good as everyone says!0 -

It is totally worth it! I think Feel Unique have it the cheapest at about £27. You only need a tiny bit, I bought mine in July and have about 10% left. I use it once a day at night. I would use it twice a day but need to be economical with it!
The Superfacialist one is a nice texture, quite thick. It smells VERY strongly of rose though, which some people would consider a bad thing. They have 2 other ranges for different skin types.0 -

Agreed it is very economical (the EH) so much so I am wondering if I might have slipped up:- I bought the 200 g size from Q, it was a great price and free p&p, but it has an opened shelf life of 6months:eek:, think I might try decanting about 50g into small jar and keeping the rest in my very cold garage fridge where I store my stash of special offer cheese, butter etc. anyone have any thoughts on this please? The best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time.
