Happy new year everyone, many thanks to rubyeskimo for getting us all started for another year.
I have been doing this challenge for 2 full years now  and am still nowhere near graduating, it's a LHJ for me! I seem to take ages to UU any product, even if its just a teeny travel size. My stash was 50 items lighter by the end of 2012 so I just need to keep it up!
This year I am going to be a lot more ruthless at throwing things out, if it has been sitting in my cupboard for years and years, the chances are I'm just not going to use it.
Welcome to the lovely newbies! No more buying unnecessary toiletries 2018
35 UU / 13 unnecessary ins0 -

I am back on the pampering wagon. I've just had a bath using a gin and tonic bath gel that was a Xmas 2011 present (smells lovely, no hangover!), scrubbed using an elle macpherson scrub that was a Xmas 2010 present and followed it up with Ren's Neroli Grapefruit body cream that was a hotel freebie from first weekend away with OH back in 2010.
I find I often hold on to things for 'best' or because I have an emotional attachment to things. I've held on to the body cream because its scent reminds me of that first weekend away. It's probably silly but I do attach a lot of sentimental value to objects.
No UU's yet but one TA: Soap and Glory Slimwear. Pulled this out of the stash today and realised I first opened it three house moves ago, so it's been open but unused for at least two years. Given I didn't much like the product to begin with, TA and WNBA.0 -
Welcome to all the newbies, everyone here is lovely so you will be just fine:T
Rosemary- Glad to hear things are a bit better:) Have you considered Northern Cyprus? Its lovely and hot, simular to Turkey but in my opinion much prettier and less spoilt, there's loads of 4/5 star places too and the food is pretty good, even fussy veggies like me can get by. Its possibly a bit more expensive but Cyprus Paradise often have a good deal or two if you are flexible. I'd recommend hiring a car so you can explore but if you don't staying in Kyrenia so you can walk to nice bars/resturant's etc. I'm not on commission, just love Northern Cyprus and want people to keep visiting:)Debt free and busy treating myself:)
No more toiletries/make up until I've used what I've got stashed since Jan 2011, graduated October 2012. Restocked Dec 13..damn those sales0 -
I've caught up, first of all hello to all the newbies
I've been here for about 2 1/2 years now but had been lurking for a while before starting to post, but evryone is nice and encouraging.
Made me chuckle to read about all the S&G moans, I've compalined many times on here about their hand cream whcih goes off very quickly. I got completely sucked into S&G from the old Boots thread on the Grabbit board and still ahve lots and lotsto use up. Not bought the S&G Boots Christmas offer for the past 2 years or anything else from the range but still ahve shower creams, butters, facial scrub and body scrub to use up. I have 1 almost UU of the scrub that noone likes here :j I don't mind it, very LHJ but a bit greasy.
I'm also going to look at the blog that was suggested earlier, all ideas are good :TLife is a coin, you can spend it anyway you wish, but you can only spend it once.
Go as far as you can see, and when you get there you'll see further.
Take time but don't waste time0 -
