decided to have a wee clear out after writing out half my list and being shocked at how much i still have after a year of buying very little.
gave away-20 bottles nailpolish (still have over 30)
thrown out-collection 2000 eyeshadow palette, delf eyeshadow (does anyone know if mac cosmetics still does back to mac?) . think i might have another look through my lipglosses, problem is i like most of the colours :P£365 a year spend challenge - this has included food/clothes/beauty?? who knows where I am

I'm definitely in for a no-spend month, I literally cannot justify purchasing anything toiletry related, even toothpaste!0

Hi everyone,
I have been a lurker of this site for too long. Can I join as well? I need to get myself sorted and could start by using up the lovely things I have been keeping for special occasions that don't happen as often as I have the vast amount of products for.lol0 -
I'm in.....being that I only discovered the thread at the tail end of last month!
My inventory consisted of 305 products!
I've already UU a vo5 shampoo (I counted it in my inventory but it only had one wash left in it)
I don't count toothpaste, mouthwash or shaving gel in my list as I don't stock up on these
I don't understand this short lived s&g thing......I've had stuff for yrs and its all fine (I checked over everything when doing my inventory)
My aim for the month is NO ins! Which will be difficult with the boots sale on the go and an abundance of points on my card.......oops, my aim may be pointless already as I've just remembered I'm awaiting a lush Boxing Day sale order! Ah well, no FURTHER ins!
I wonder if they have changed the formula of some of the products, no-one is suggesting that it is a problem across the board, just some items as you will have read in earlier posts.:)The best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time. (Abraham Lincoln)0 -
I'd like to join this challenge as I have umpteen bottles of stuff stashed here, there and everywhere!

I'd like to join this challenge please! I need to get it under control because it doesn't make me happy to have all this goo in my home.
I'll do a stash list when I get home; at the moment I'm staying up my parents' house with hubby for New Year. It's not horrific but I have lots of stuff I don't want to use and need encouragement to. Not much PRC, mostly just a lazy routine. I'll post a fuller message tomorrow. I'm just a bit tragic and wanted to get in on the first day of the year.
I've been lurking for a year so it was high time I signed up to this!0 -
Happy New Year
I have been lurking for a little while and would love to start the New Year by cutting my beauty product stockpile and regain some space. Unfortunately due to the size of my stash I forsee that I am in it for the long haul.
So UU today:
1. Lush bath bomb - unsure of the name WBA (I love lush luckily the nearest shop is 30 miles away.
2. Original Source lime shower gel WBA as I love fruity shower gels but dont need to as I could provide shower gel for a small country.
On a different note since hitting 40 (im now 41) I have been plagued with spots - horrid sore acne like spots. I understand im probably peri menopausal but do any of you lovely ladies have any recommendations as its destroying my confidence. No more buying toiletries0 -
Hello lovely ladies, having been lurking since November I've decided to join in properly if that's ok and a large reason why I've decided to is because there is not an ounce of nastiness/judgement/catty remarks etc on these threads. I've rarely posted on others (as you can see) because the conversation can turn really quickly. How silly to be scared of posting a comment!
Anyway, I've been reading on and off and even though I've not strictly been following it (did purchase the LIB calendar and some conditioners in the sale) it has definitely made me rethink a few purchases. I've almost finished my list so I'll post that soon too. I'm getting married in July and have just bought a new car so need to make cutbacks everywhere I can and toiletries seem to be my downfall so I am not buying anything but the absolute necessities like shampoo and deodorant for as long as possible. Wish me luck lol.
