morning all,
Maddiemay that's great news about your brother,
uu Philosophy Hope in a jar 10ml, wnba this wasn't that great at moisturising my thirsty skin, it also has a faint smell of plastic
also TA a tube of fake tan but cannot remeber the brand name
happy pampering, xo0 -
UU is Gatineau Revolumising Lip Care. WBA a HG for me, have 2 more in stock.
I have been really naughty today and bought the Elemis 6 piece Winter Skincare Collection, in my defence with all our worries OH and I decided not to bother with presents for each other at Christmas, all seemed a bit trivial under the circumstances, but have decided this was too good to miss, so will be my present from OH. I will buy him something cycling related when he comes across something that he wants.
I have, however, resisted the LE TSV, I only need Toner and I have a sneaking suspicion that the C&P is causing red patches on my face, there are just a few applications left in my pump, so I have put it on one side until blotches clear up and then will test again.
Thinking of pump dispensers, I did not know until recently that if you leave them for 24 hours after you think you have used the last pump, you can get 1 more application, it even works with the teeny 3 or 5 ml sizes, very :money:The best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time. 2 more small UU
Eucerin Aquaphor Soothing Skin Balm 4g
ChapStick Original Lip Balm - didn't like this one at all, had Cherry one previously and loved, would buy chapstick again but not original. Don't think I'll need to buy lip balm again for many years0 -
Forgot to say hoping for 3 more UU this month.0

2 more UUs:
1) Monsoon eau de toilette (30ml): WIBA? Well, I didn't buy it in the first place - it was a lovely gift, but it's OK, nothing special, and there are nicer scents out there. But the thought was lovely.
2) Dr Organics lavender roll-on deodorant: WIBA? It's not great protection in really hot weather but it's pretty good under most other circumstances and I like the fact that it doesn't contain lots of chemical nasties that others do, so yes. Please call me 'Pickle'
No More Buying Books: ???
No More Buying DVDs: ???
NMB Toiletries ??? and I've gone back for my Masters at the University of Use Ups!
Proud to be dealing with her debts 1198~

Another UU this morning, Dr Hauschka Hand Cream 10g. WMBA, I liked the texture and it was easily absorbed but I still think L'Occitane's Shea butter one is hard to best!No act of kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted.0

Hi luce, happy to help. I was having a little nosey yesterday and I think this is the cheapest that I found the To Dry For at:-
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Essie-Nail-Treatment-Dry-15ML/dp/B007P3UZ6E/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1359268727&sr=8-2
Here also are the reviews on makeupalley for all the Essie base/top coats so you can make your own decision from this.
http://www.makeupalley.com/product/browse.asp?topten=reviewed&CategoryID=602&brand=147&AgeRange=0&submit=Find+Products
Hope this helps.
Thanks for that Val
I've had a quick look through those reviews and think I'll go for the good to go one, then I can use my boots points :T
Currently trying to resist buying the Lize Earle TSV and the EH set you linked to
Must not buy... Must not buy...Addicted to MSE, I can't resist a bargain0 -

Phew - have just caught up with the thread - it is rattling along this month which is great but I have been busy so haven't had time to check in regularly. Started catching up yesterday evening and have just finished now.
Maddiemay - great news about your brother - hope he continues to improve little by little
Roguey - the EH cleansing balm is a HG for me. It smells divine and really does what it says on the tin.
I am not doing the LE - have put £5 in my SPC. I am not a big fan of the masks so not too difficult to resist this one but I know in the past I would have done it regardless so this is real progress.
But I am afraid I will have to do penance on the naughty step as I have ordered this as the price is just amazing and Margaret Dabbs are HG foot treatments for me. I did wrestle with my conscience for a while before committing to the purchase but decided it was too :money:to miss as I will use everything in the kit:

I will add the INs when it arrives.
Also managed to finish off 3 more items this week:
Bare minerals prime time brightening treatment - WBA as I really like the texture of prime time and it is a HG when using BM foundation for me. Have started a neutralizing one from my stash now which is also great - it does have a strong smell which is a bit off putting but it does work well. I know it isn't off as it hasn't been stashed for long.
Clarins moisture rich body lotion - I love the smell of this but body lotion is one area I am hoping to cut back spending on so although I love it WMBA only for a treat occasionally.
Gielly Green hand & body wash - this was ok - pleasant smell but WNBA as there are other body washes I prefer. Am also using the shampoo and conditioner from this range and am absolutely loving those - more when they become a UU.
Sun is shining here - hope you are all having a good weekend.0
