  • I have yet another UU: Avene rich skin recovery cream calming formula 40ml. I bought this to sort out the stubborn eczema patches I had developed in the cold weather. This is the best thing for sorting this out; however I have found the product 'rolls' on the skin if I've applied too much, and I lost all my carefully applied makeup because of this on a couple of occasions! WBA but am hoping with less cold weather and a more nourishing cleanser, I won't have to for a while.

UU REN mayblosson cleansing gel, this is OK but is a little runny so I seemed to be using more than I needed. Have replaced with my HG Balance Me facewash

That's not the reason for the naughty step though as when I was in Boots I saw some Philosophy shower gels still left at half price. Bit naughty I think considering they have had the 75% off sale and maybe this is why they were still there. There was a small table with them on. They had the Christmas Cookie, Candy Cane, Pumpkin Pie, Holly Berry and Eggnog.

My local Boots are still selling them at full-price even though the whole Philosophy stand is covered in stuff with Christmas packaging. They told me they hadn't been told to reduce them. I think they will still be there in June!

Hope you don't mind me making a suggestion, but I've recently found Naked shampoos and they do one which is really gentle and doesn't make my hair greasy at all!! It's the Mild one, for a sensitive scalp, and they do a conditioner to match. I've found this really good for not making me itch (with three kids at school I'm always paranoid that I must have nits!!!!) and it cleans and conditions without making my hair greasy - I can get away with washing every other day instead of daily. It's on offer at the moment, 2 for £6. Worth a try. And it smells lovely! HTH xx

I'm open to any suggestions and I also suffer from an itchy scalp so this sounds ideal! Than you!! x

I've got the same problem, have sooo many open bottles and none of them seem to do anything for my hair... I also have hair which gets greasy easily and have a sensitive scalp too :(

Have a similar issue with cleansers... I have a few which don't agree with my skin and don't know whether to continue using them at the expense of my skin or just TA

I use Dr Hauschka's cleansing milk on my no make up or non minerals make up days as I find it really gentle and doesn't leave my face feeling raw. It doesn't leave my eyes stinging either unlike the Neals Yard calendula and chamomile cleansers.
No act of kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted.

Hello! I've been lurking for a few weeks, but I'm sneaking out to ask where this is on offer? I have a skin condition that won't go away, and have had to give up all soap . The only thing I kept was my shampoo, and now think I need to get rid of this too... If anyone else knows of any home-made products I can give a go as well, it would be appreciated! It might help me if I control exactly what goes in...

It's great reading all your tips and reviews - I've been running all my stores down, and have enjoyed the motivation to put things back (because I can't use some things, I keep over-compensating with other things)

I was clearing out a cupboard today and found a boots cocoa butter set that I forgot was even in the house so declaring the following ins

    Cocoa butter shower gel
    Body scrub
    Body butter

I have a few splutterers at the moment which should bite the dust any day which will thankfully offset these ins

    Happy pampering, xo

Silly me, I forgot to say where it's on offer! Boots. 2 for £6, I think it's about £4.19 normally so it's a good buy. I really like the sensitive scalp shampoo......I'm on my second bottle and have another in the drawer (which is unheard of!). The conditioner was fab too. Personally, I think it's a good price for something that's pretty natural as well as being good for sensitive scalps and not making my hair greasy!! Gentle enough for the kids to use too. Hope that helps xx

The other thing to try is Green People....they do a scent free range which is fanstastic, I'm pretty sure they do a shampoo and conditioner in this range. It's a bit more expensive, but worth looking at if you need to go soap free. Try their website xx
  • one UU, Ted Baker bath foam WNBA at full price and already have another in my stash

a couple of ins that I kind of needed, some that I didn't:
    No 7 purifying mask
No 7 melting gel cleanser (to go with the cleansing brush that I got)
L'Oreal waterproof telescopic mascara (my colleague at work loves the non-waterproof one)
L'Oreal waterproof million lashes mascara (2 for £15)

Gift with L'Oreal purchase over 15 squid
    color ricche fuschia lipstick
5 ml color riche crystalline nail polish
    tiny pot of revitalift moisturiser
volume million lashes diamond black mascara (going to be GA as I need waterproof)
2 foundation samples (to GA as I'm brown and much darker than the foundation!)

I still have a S&G 200 points voucher for spending over £10 on facial skincare. I only have one lipbalm, do you think I could maybe justify getting some S&G lipbalms? I'm also tempted to get more face masks and face scrubs...
