I have a question for you all........I have organised and working my way through my stash but I have a large bag of flannel/sponges/puffy netty things on a rope/body brushes etc.......they all came with gift sets, I dont think I have ever bought 1!
so as I'm seeing my stash get under control this is one area that just stays the same, I would use them all but those netty things last for ever and I dont like throwing things away when there is nothing wrong with them..........any suggestions??
I don't think I have ever bought a make-up bag or shower puff!
Some Muslim women use those shower puffs under their hijab.0 -
Hi all, just been catching up on the thread, it really moves quickly! I love reading about how everyone is getting on and hearing about products people love.
Rosemary54 - your posts about the insurance men really made me giggleplus congrats on your lovely win!
Wishing your brother all the best maddiemay
Thanks for the link about the handcream luce181, I have filled in the request, love a freebie!
I have 1UU and 1IN to report:
UU3: Batiste Original Dry Shampoo - love this stuff, always use it the day after I have washed my hair.
IN: Replaced the above with Batiste Lace Dry Shampoo. Not tried this before, think it's a new one.
Have only ever tried the Batiste dry shampoo range and not any of the others that are available. Has anyone else tried any different ones?0 -
Hermia - forgot all about the make-up bags!!! I have a sports holdal full under the bed!! lol....and never bought one of them either!0

I'm looking online for essie top coats and am a bit confused... some websites have bottles which are the same as the nail polish - with essie embossed on the side of the bottle, others have an 'e' printed in a blue circle
What does yours look like?
Boots have one called 'good to go' which sounds similar to 'to dry for' do you think this would be ok? I could then buy it with my points
Hi luce, happy to help. I was having a little nosey yesterday and I think this is the cheapest that I found the To Dry For at:-
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Essie-Nail-Treatment-Dry-15ML/dp/B007P3UZ6E/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1359268727&sr=8-2
Here also are the reviews on makeupalley for all the Essie base/top coats so you can make your own decision from this.
http://www.makeupalley.com/product/browse.asp?topten=reviewed&CategoryID=602&brand=147&AgeRange=0&submit=Find+Products
I was actually amazed at how many they have when I started looking yesterday. From memory when we visited the US last time I'd looked on makeupalley and To Dry For had got the best reviews hence why I went with it. I don't remember them having a huge selection of them in the store we visited either (Ulta - if I win the lottery girls I'm opening a franchise of this store over here in the UK!). I picked up a bottle of the Matte About You for Emma as part of the 3 for 2.
Hope this helps.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

Popped in to SpaceNK today and had a look/feel of the Emma Hardie cleansing balm. On paper I have several cleansers - one is about to go, one is a part used liz earle c&p and the other two are olay which aggravate my skin and are therefore being used on an infrequent basis. I think I'm definitely going to treat myself to the EH on payday as it felt so lovely, and my skin has been so much trouble recently.
I won't be getting it from SpaceNK though! It's £34 there but only £27 online with free delivery.
Ooh this kit looks nice roguey.

Maybe put them in beauty hampers for gifts? I do change my body puff every few months though - I suppose it depends on the brand but the ones I've had do unravel after a while.
I end up with loads of makeup bags as well but then end up filling them when we travel.
Am hoping to avoid the TV today as it's Beauty Day on QVC and I used to be a sucker for buying anything from there on that day. Unfortunately we are headed to the Trafford Centre instead as MrM needs some new shoes for work. May have to bob into John Lewis and see if they have the OPI Mariah Carey polishes in or repurchase a bottle of Nein Nein Nein OK Fine.
Have just repainted my nails and am wearing OPI You Don't Know Jacques. I was going to wear Grand Canyon Sunset but couldn't get the lid off and I think it's a bit early to take the bottle into MrM and ask him to prize the lid off.
Also have an IN in the form of a freebie through the post: a sachet of serum from B - the new brand at Superdrug.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. 1 x UU for me today.
1 x Nivea Invisible deodorant. Large can, went on forever. I prefer Sure as a deo, so WNBA.0 -

It looks brilliant! I'm very tempted by the exfoliating beads and the serum, but I'm sticking my fingers in my ears (eyes?) and singing lalala...I have enough facial oil, serum, moisturiser to last a v long time, so going to go for cleanser only until the stash is reduced a little.
It's so painful though!! I want the pretty!!0 -

Aimme13, I am using one of my unused blusher brushes to brush out loose coffee from inside our bean to cup coffee machine. It's brilliant for those hard to reach areas.
One of my work colleagues is using a blusher/foundation brush to clean her keyboard with at work.No toiletries challenge, started 18/1/2010 - Putting £1 in my savings jar for every item that I use up. Pot 1 to 4 = £261. Pot 5=£23
Boots points:£39.21. Extra money in 2012:£674.59. In 2013 £603.48. 2014: £85. 2015: £0 :j0 -
I have one more UU to report, No7 radiance boosting cleanser 200ml. This is in the old packaging so I have had it around a while, but it has lasted a surprisingly long time using daily to double cleanse. WIBA? I don't think they do this one exactly any more (the hot cloth cleanser is the nearest), and I think I would with a £5 voucher as it would work out less than £5. I do prefer my Liz Earle C&P though, and am about to try the Emma Hardie cleansing balm once payday rolls around.0
