    Evening everyone

Sorry about the long post, it's the first chance I've had to post since last weekend as it's a busy old week!

Lots of IN's today (9 in total) my LIB Editors box, although I have resisted the latest one. I will buy the mascara sometime when I need a new one, nothing else appeals to me.

    1 x BIOEFFECT EGF Serum (3ml) 1 x STEAMCREAM Nourishing Moisturiser (75g) 1 x ESPA Lift & Firm Intensive Eye Serum (3ml) & Moisturiser (7ml) 1 x Aromatherapy Associates Revive Morning Bath & Shower Oil (3ml) 1 x Trilogy Rosehip Oil Antioxidant + (2.5ml) 1 x Jo Hansford Intensive Masque (40ml) 1 x Perricone MD No Foundation Foundation (7.5ml) 1 x Richard Ward Volumiser Root Booster (50ml) 1 x L'Occitane Shea Butter Hand Cream (10ml)

I got this one too before I started this challenge and am loving the Trilogy Rosehip Oil. Might even use some of my B00ts points get the full sized one.

Not sure about the bioeffect serum, I ended up selling the last 3 sample bottles on fleabay. Much prefer Dr Bragi age management moisturiser but might give Bioeffect a go again.

Didn't like the Aromatherapy Associates Revive Bath & Shower Oil, too strongly scented for me :(

Any other recommendations out there for an alternative to LE? There seem to be so many types of Toner around!

I'm using Jurlique rosewater balancing mist at the mo and it's lovely so long as you like the smell of roses!

Thanks for the feedback on the Perricone foundation. Might let my sensitive skin give this one a miss.

Thank you for the link - I love their hand cream!

    3 UU :j
Dr Hauschka Rose Cream 30ml - HG product and it's a fab moisturiser to use in the winter! WBA but there's another one in the stash to be used first! :o

Dr Hauschka Cleansing Cream 50ml - I love using this on my no make up days as it's sooooo gentle if you use as directed. WBA but yet again there's another one in the stash to be used first!

Dr Hauschka Lavender Bath 10ml. Love the smell but to be honest don't really know if it's done anything to improve my skin and can't say that my sleep quality has improved! Another 3 in the stash to use up so maybe I'll find out when I get to the end of them! :rotfl:

And 1 In but it's a freebie - L'Oreal Extraordinary Oil sample sachet.

Resisting the urge to visit LIB but have received an email for 10% off Dr Hauschka's hero products this weekend (must stay strong) and nearly got tempted in the shampoo aisle in Sainsbury's the other night. All those pretty bottles!! Finding it so hard to get a decent shampoo that cleans my hair but doesn't turn in greasy within 24 hours. I'm determined to work my way through the bottles I have in the stash but would happly GA/TA the lot if I could find something that suits my hair !
No act of kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted.

75 clarins serum sachet - a freebie when I bought my foundation.

    outs.
2 lush bath bombs WBA yesterdays was a present shaped one - tonights a santa would have been better without the glitter but worth it for my daughters smile.

There a lots of good top coats out there. I've tried Nails Inc, Seche Vite and Essies' To Dry For. The Essie one is my favourite. They all perform well and give a lovely gloss but the Essie one is the only one that has not gone gloopy before I finished the bottle. I bought mine in the US on a 3 for 2 deal and got 2 bottles. I've finished one and have a good half a bottle left of the one I'm using. These were bought in October 2011 and as you've probably gathered on here I paint my nails every other day so it gives you an idea of how economical this top coat is.

I'm looking online for essie top coats and am a bit confused... some websites have bottles which are the same as the nail polish - with essie embossed on the side of the bottle, others have an 'e' printed in a blue circle

    What does yours look like?
Boots have one called 'good to go' which sounds similar to 'to dry for' do you think this would be ok? I could then buy it with my points ;)

  • Lots of uu's this week

    3 sample shower/bath gel.
2 no7mascaras which I can't remember when I bought so binned and using a new one I received in a set for Xmas.
2 x No7 foundation. One so old it started to separate and the other ran out. WBA though as matched my skin perfect. Still have 2 bottles of foundation t use before I need to buy.
Bs mango butter. WBA once I have used the other 5 I have already got in the stash in different flavours.
1 dove deo. Only 2 more to go.

1 in today which was given to me so didn't cost a penny. Dove body milk which is lovely and smells georgeous.

Really enjoying not spending money in toiletries so far. Have so many I don't need to worry at the moment and good to have a few quid left each week x

A UU Aquafresh toothpaste, WBA but have plenty (a reoccuring theme always!! :rotfl:) in my posts.
Been on the Grabbit baord and seen someone say the Philosophy range is in Home Bargains called Possibilty, appears to be good and much cheaper :D so may have to try that. my nearest HB is agood 20 odd miles away so won't be passing in tomorrow.
Snow is getting battered by the rain, should be all awy by the morning at this rate but it likely there could be some flooding
Life is a coin, you can spend it anyway you wish, but you can only spend it once.
Go as far as you can see, and when you get there you'll see further.
Take time but don't waste time
  • 1 more UU: Tresemme glossing spray. My hair is usually too fine for serum but that has been lovely as a heat protection and glossing spray. Lasted 18 months and very good for the price, WBA.

Popped in to SpaceNK today and had a look/feel of the Emma Hardie cleansing balm. On paper I have several cleansers - one is about to go, one is a part used liz earle c&p and the other two are olay which aggravate my skin and are therefore being used on an infrequent basis. I think I'm definitely going to treat myself to the EH on payday as it felt so lovely, and my skin has been so much trouble recently.

I won't be getting it from SpaceNK though! It's £34 there but only £27 online with free delivery.
  • I did do a little toiletries spending but in all fairness it was products in travel size shape for me to take on my business trip tomorrow, so I don't feel too guilty.

I guess I did splurge a little too much at the dior counter today but it was a payday treat for myself. Sigh...I will never learn sometimes.

NO UU's up today but will have some in a weeks time :)

ROSEMARY - AMAZING!!! congrats on winning xxxx

I have a question for you all........I have organised and working my way through my stash but I have a large bag of flannel/sponges/puffy netty things on a rope/body brushes etc.......they all came with gift sets, I dont think I have ever bought 1!

so as I'm seeing my stash get under control this is one area that just stays the same, I would use them all but those netty things last for ever and I dont like throwing things away when there is nothing wrong with them..........any suggestions??
