Wow wow wow, fan flipping tastic!!! Congrats!!!

    Another 2 UUs
Dr Hauschka soothing mask 5g. WBA as it doesn't irritate my skin and leaves it feeling soft and dehydrated.
Dead Sea Magik salt scrub 50g. Not usually a fan of salt scrubs but this one left my skin soft and feeling moisturised although there didn't seem enough to do my body. I know I need to lose weight but I didn't think I was that big!!! There's an unopened jar of Sanctuary salt scrub at the back of the cupboard that I might try, surely there must be enough in that!!!! :rotfl:

Phew - have just caught up with the thread - it is rattling along this month which is great but I have been busy so haven't had time to check in regularly. Started catching up yesterday evening and have just finished now.

Maddiemay - great news about your brother - hope he continues to improve little by little

Roguey - the EH cleansing balm is a HG for me. It smells divine and really does what it says on the tin.

I am not doing the LE - have put £5 in my SPC. I am not a big fan of the masks so not too difficult to resist this one but I know in the past I would have done it regardless so this is real progress.

But I am afraid I will have to do penance on the naughty step as I have ordered this as the price is just amazing and Margaret Dabbs are HG foot treatments for me. I did wrestle with my conscience for a while before committing to the purchase but decided it was too :money:to miss as I will use everything in the kit:

    http://www.qvcuk.com/Margaret-Dabbs-5-Piece-Essentials-Collection.product.201093.html?sc=201093-SRCH&cm_sp=VIEWPOSITION-_-1-_-201093

I will add the INs when it arrives.

Also managed to finish off 3 more items this week:

Bare minerals prime time brightening treatment - WBA as I really like the texture of prime time and it is a HG when using BM foundation for me. Have started a neutralizing one from my stash now which is also great - it does have a strong smell which is a bit off putting but it does work well. I know it isn't off as it hasn't been stashed for long.

Clarins moisture rich body lotion - I love the smell of this but body lotion is one area I am hoping to cut back spending on so although I love it WMBA only for a treat occasionally.

Gielly Green hand & body wash - this was ok - pleasant smell but WNBA as there are other body washes I prefer. Am also using the shampoo and conditioner from this range and am absolutely loving those - more when they become a UU.

Sun is shining here - hope you are all having a good weekend.

While we are sharing the naughty step we can chat about the EM and the Prime Time, and the Margaret Dabs is on my must have list, but not until I have used up at least 4 pots/part pots of assorted gunk that I have consigned to the foot treatment drawer, so may be quite a while, meantime my ped-egg and above stuff keep my feet pretty good, must admit I have made more effort since I have been seeing physio weekly for work on my ankle:o

Lovely and sunny here, but not been out, pampering morning, OH is out - first time I have had house to myself for about 3 weeks:D

Good to know I am in good company on the naughty step :). Always happy to talk toiletries/beauty stuff! The Margaret Dabbs products are fantastic - I haven't used the cuticle serum before so I am looking forward to trying that. Last year I was lucky enough to win tickets in the draw for the Beauty Bash (not so lucky this year :() and I had a Margaret Dabbs treatment - it was amazing.
  • Wow its taken me yesterday afternoon and this morning to catch up with you lovely lot!

Lifes been a bit hectic here, busy at work plus a new man in my life, still trying to be pampered and beautiful :p. Healthy eating is having slow progress due to eating out boo bah humbug lol.

Hello to all the newbies, it truely is one of the best threads on mse. Glad ur brother is improving Maddiemay. If its any consolation Rogueylawyer i havent spoken to my mother for over 5 years and to be honest my life is the better for the lack of her drama, hope things get better for you. Sorry if ive missed anyone i have to confess to skim reading a fair amount to catch up.

    7 UU to report
Lush bubblebar the comforter WBA - love this one but i only buy it as treat to myself when im in the city.
Simple Fash wash WNBA - the 150 ml took forever to use up and i didnt think it was that great plus the consistancy of the soap went really gloopy towards the end of the LHJ Currently using up the 50ml travel size in stash to get it gone for good.
Nivea Creme 30ml WBA - But not for some time i have a 200ml tub in the stash to go thru. the 50ml tub tho is in use and saving my hands in this cold weather.
Morrisons Total Roll on Deo WNBA - was ok and cheap at the time but ive used better that when on offer are no dearer.
Cein Handwash 1Ltr - WMBA a cheap lidl handwash that works ok as cheap bubblebath
Boots zingy lime showergel 250ml -WMBA Very fruity and a nice smell to wake up to.
Rimmel 100% waterproof mascara - WNBA fell in love with the maybeline one now and this was dried up (saving packaging for clinque trade in just in case)

Hopefully thats the last of the snow for everyone...im sick of the stuff now!

    Happy pampering.
Consolidated and under control 42 payments to go.

  • congratulations Rosemary, what a great prize

one UU - gok wan body scrub. WBA if in the 75% boot sale again. It's more watery than a BS body scrub but that's fine cos it stuck better. I'm forever dropping bits of BS body scrub.

I'm off to boots to use up a S&G voucher and boots no 7 vouchers. I hope I don't spend too much.

Ren active 7 radiant eye gel, ok but nothing special.

L'occitane shea butter face serum, I love the shea butter range but this didn't do anything for my face so won't buy again.

L'occitane shea butter 8% moisturiser for the face, this was ok but not rich enough in the winter time for my skin.

I will buy a new l'occitane shea butter moisturiser this week, probably the one with SPF. I have booked myself in for a consultation on Wednesday so hoping to get 2 x sets of bags with free samples (one for the consulation and one for spending £30).

Enjoy the rest of your Sunday.
No toiletries challenge, started 18/1/2010 - Putting £1 in my savings jar for every item that I use up. Pot 1 to 4 = £261. Pot 5=£23
    Boots points:£39.21. Extra money in 2012:£674.59. In 2013 £603.48. 2014: £85. 2015: £0 :j

Finding it so hard to get a decent shampoo that cleans my hair but doesn't turn in greasy within 24 hours. I'm determined to work my way through the bottles I have in the stash but would happly GA/TA the lot if I could find something that suits my hair !

Hope you don't mind me making a suggestion, but I've recently found Naked shampoos and they do one which is really gentle and doesn't make my hair greasy at all!! It's the Mild one, for a sensitive scalp, and they do a conditioner to match. I've found this really good for not making me itch (with three kids at school I'm always paranoid that I must have nits!!!!) and it cleans and conditions without making my hair greasy - I can get away with washing every other day instead of daily. It's on offer at the moment, 2 for £6. Worth a try. And it smells lovely! HTH xx

I've got the same problem, have sooo many open bottles and none of them seem to do anything for my hair... I also have hair which gets greasy easily and have a sensitive scalp too :(

Have a similar issue with cleansers... I have a few which don't agree with my skin and don't know whether to continue using them at the expense of my skin or just TA

I have been really naughty today and bought the Elemis 6 piece Winter Skincare Collection, in my defence with all our worries OH and I decided not to bother with presents for each other at Christmas, all seemed a bit trivial under the circumstances, but have decided this was too good to miss, so will be my present from OH. I will buy him something cycling related when he comes across something that he wants.

I have, however, resisted the LE TSV, I only need Toner and I have a sneaking suspicion that the C&P is causing red patches on my face, there are just a few applications left in my pump, so I have put it on one side until blotches clear up and then will test again.

I'm joining you and kiplingmonkey on the naughty step. I have been to the Trafford Centre and have bought myself a new OPI Mariah Carey lacquer called Stay the Night. It's one of the new liquid sand ones and has dried matte so looks different. Am happy with my purchase.

That's not the reason for the naughty step though as when I was in Boots I saw some Philosophy shower gels still left at half price. Bit naughty I think considering they have had the 75% off sale and maybe this is why they were still there. There was a small table with them on. They had the Christmas Cookie, Candy Cane, Pumpkin Pie, Holly Berry and Eggnog. I was very restrained and only bought the Christmas Cookie one. I do have so many shower gels that I shouldn't but it seemed wrong not to. I also saw some other shower gels - mimosa, pink grapefruit and tangerine? at half price in Debenhams.

The Elemis Christmas kits were all reduced by 25% in Debenhams however I didn't buy any. Enjoy your kit maddiemay, this is the one that was the TSV before Christmas and the body oil is divine. Hope the Elemis cleanser is kinder to your skin than C&P.

As I didn't go for the TSV I put £5.00 in my jar. I've decided though that I'm going to use the money in there for little treats for me as I won't feel so bad about buying toiletries etc then. I had enough in there for my lacquer with some change left over so don't feel bad at all. I kind of justified the spend on the Philosophy to MrM by saying it was for me and Emma.

I did then however treat Emma to the Urban Decay Basics pallette as she has been working so hard lately at school and I know it's started to stress her out a little. Unfortunately she is only at the beginning of her GCSE courses so it's only going to get worse. Can't wait to give it her later when she gets back from the MEN. Today has been the first time she has travelled into Manchester with a friend.

    Thanks for that Val :)
I've had a quick look through those reviews and think I'll go for the good to go one, then I can use my boots points :T

Currently trying to resist buying the Lize Earle TSV and the EH set you linked to :o

Must not buy... Must not buy...

I'd have done the same luce if I could spend AP on an item. Let me know what it's like.
