Bathroom all cleaned and I've had my shower.

    so plan:
    dry hair
    put wm on
    make pancakes
    DS2 to tidy his room
    DS1 to wash my car
DS3 to do anyting other than tv or other electronics

I'm anxious to get on with some Frog-munching here (deadline is 15 January) so yesterday I was furiously beavering away at things that needed to be done to get them out of the way. The first time I looked at the clock it was ... 3.15! The next time it was 5.18 and I had to admit defeat. However, Mount Washmore is cleared and the ironing will wait.
    Better is good enough.
  • Hi folks. I am still trying to get myself organised and flying again. Got a bit lost - I keep forgetting that there is a new thread each week and was still subscribed to the old one.

Getting organised today for going back to work on Monday. Washing to be done - 1 load in, 2 loads to go.

Food Plan/Shop to be done. Probably do this later on this evening.

Kitchen cleaned, DW emptied and ready for all todays dishes last night. Trying to get into an evening routine to be organised for each new day.

    Morning All

Well on the 1 morning all holiday I've managed to sleep in DH rung me at 7.30 and woke me up! So since then I have been having a sort out in DD's bedroom. It was her sort of tidy ie everything shoved under the bed so the floor was clear. Last night as I was talking to her while she was in bed I filled 2 bin bags of rubbish. This morning while she was asleep in my bed (she sneaked in at 6am) I made a start under her bed. So far I am on my 6th bin bag of rubbish (that doesn't include the ones from last night) and 1 bag for the CS. I've also filled the wash basket with dirty underwear - don't let her ever tell me she's got no knickers or socks again! So I just though I'd come on here for a quick 10 mins while I had a break.

    Have a good day all

    Hugs

  • Good morning :D

No work today, but I set my alarm so I could get the bins out. I don't like putting them out the night before because the foxes rip them (which also annoys the dog & then no-one sleeps!). After they were done it was back to bed for a while with a cuppa.

Not much else has been done :o I have checked bank accounts & emails, and transferred my credit card balance from 19.9% to 0% until July, then 14.9%. i need to be really strict with that card now :o

DH is pacing up & down as he doesn't know what to do with himself! He is waiting for a call from his boss to say that he is on his way from the airport (is flying from Scotland). They need to have a final meeting to tie up loose ends. His leaving date is next Friday (11/1). We were supposed to be heading to London tonight to see a show & stay over - but that has been cancelled as he doesn't know how long this meeting will be :( (it was my Christmas present :( We will have to re-book) He won't need to be in work next week, and is planning to have a clear out in the loft :) he has cleaned out his car this morning, which will be collected next Tuesday (he is going to miss that!)

The kids have just got up. I must, must, MUST do some studying today :(:o I have been trying to get the art club accounts ready for the AGM tomorrow (which i wasn't going to, because of our trip to london - but i may turn up now!). I also need to do my own accounts as the tax return deadline is looming. I am feeling a bit overwhelmed & don't know where to start!!

    *deep breath*
Ok - I will start with HHS - bitesize chunks :)

I've done some washing, dusted and vacuumed all through downstairs, and been out for my walk. I've done all the house through the week. Ooh, the cat's just come downstairs - silly cat, now I'm going to brush her because she's a hairy monster. She will be pleased :D

I have hit that can't wait for the kids to go back to school moment. Have balled them all out about lack of helping and arguing. DS1 now out washing car, DS2 has had his laptop removed and is tidying his room. DS3 is doing my head in. Taking him on his bike to the library.

Made beds, washing in, put away dry clean stuff and finished my typing jobs :T.

Now about to do lunch (did ask DH but he's gone ominously quiet), then off to shops to get trainers for kids and a bit of food. Plan for later - ironing, call insurance company and do some hanging files for DH.

    Have a good afternoon everyone!
