    Afternoon all

I've done all the bedrooms today and vacuumed through downstairs. Two loads of washing draped round (drizzly all day) but it's drying now the heating has come on.

Fridge and freezer all sorted and wiped over now we've got rid of the Christmas stuff (except for some turkey in the freezer for later in the month).

Hello all. Been flying at work today. Lost a key but found it eventually *mops brow*

My colleague has the opportunity to go on an all-expenses paid jolly but thinks she cannot go because of parents evening. I think it's too good a chance to miss (tis abroad, luxury hotel etc - she is well-connected;) so I have planted the seed, on her behalf, for a slight shuffle so she can go; I'll work her days and she will work mine - IF it comes together. Let's hope the seed shoots for her;)

Went to mum's for New Year and had to take DDs friend home - she has a bug (vom - yeuch) - now, I'm supposed to be delivering the baby's jacket...not sure whether to wait - just-in-case.

Flying at home has been limited to washing - pots and clothes.

Haven't done what I wanted to do from the kitchen list but have thoroughly cleaned the hob (it was minging ), cleaned microwave and wiped down all the white goods. Also got DD pair of shoes in the sale :T and we gave the dog a good walk.

Easy tea tonight; fishfingers and chips. We got in from town too late to do anything from scratch so that'll do - going to do casserole in the SC tomorrow.

Everyone is doing so well with their flying, it helps me to feel motivated so keep it going!

Flitting in briefly to report I finished the ironing challenge. OK, so it was New Year's Day rather than New Year's Eve, but I did it!!!

Dailies and some of today's list done. Went to my voluntary job for a couple of hours. Supposed to go shopping with DD but she has a bad migraine. Too much chocolate methinks. I've been to SW and de cluttered a couple of pound there.

Will have a look at tomorrow's list but not sure how much I will get done as I'm at a funeral tomorrow. Think I will whip a lasagne together and I can have that when I get back.

Hugs spoons and sticks where needed.

Evening all. Around the paid stuff and dailies I only got as far as dusting LR and wiping the hob today.

Can I use ordinary vinegar or pickling vinegar for the descaling of the kettle?
Spend less now, work less later.
